Hi Julie. If you don't have a score board, you could use a ruler and a stylus to make your score marks. Or some paper trimmers have both a cutting blade and a scoring blade attached - you could use one of those.

I use my envelope punch board probably every week, but this definitely comes in handy if you don't want to use 12" x 12" to make one envelope.
