  • This video shows how to do a fused glass technique called "Stack-N-Smoosh" (or stack and smoosh). It's the process of making small stacks of glass then fusing it until the stacks smoosh down. There is even has a way to use this technique for jewelry. It's a very quick overview. If you want to learn more it should be easy to find a class or book on the technique. This was originally a 40 minute Periscope broadcast. I have condensed it for TH-cam. Enjoy!

You are soft spoken and I can not hear you very well on most of your videos. Mine is turned up all the way and have no trouble with other videos. I do enjoy watching what you teach. ty

Same here. Have to try and listen SO hard to hear, other videos are fine. But yours are really good videos apart from the sound.

Thanks for a really useful video. Is it necessary for stacks not to touch?

Hi Susan.Thank you so much for this demo. Can one use a thicker glass for the base and then use a thinner glass for the next two stacks to prevent puddling or expansion? Any advice would be most welcome, appreciated. Cheers!

I've found that some people have their computer sound set to surround & that can cause difficulty hearing some videos filmed in mono. Go into your audio control panel, speaker configuration & change it from 7.1 to 2/2.1 I hope this helps!

Love these and wished I could hear you. Thanks for taking the time to show us your techniques. I checked my audio settings and it isn't on 7.1 but I still can't hear you even if I add a remote speaker. @@SusanMcGarryGlass

I sure wish I could figure out why some can’t hear it. I’ve checked it on several different computers and it’s fine. Let me know if you figure it out.
