Hi John, minute 5:18 to your right is a bank of america, the green olive ford edge is my car, I used to work there, its amazing how an everyday thing or town is view from another perspective when is new or estrange for somebody, I live in Hialeah and most of my clients were truck drivers, I never been in one, but thanks to your video, now I know the feeling... good video but the way dont pay attention to the bad comments
For the people that don't know and I am not criticizing John, Hialeah is a city about 300K inhabitants in the north west part of Miami Dade County, it is part of the Miami metropolitan area,the proper cities of Miami and Miami Beach are like 25 minutes drive from there, and yes.. there you will find beaches, exciting night life and bikinis, Hialeah is home of a lot of factories, mom and dad shops, and a huge market for anything of mass consume for every big company in the US, so please don't underestimate its economic importance just by the looks!! :)
Hialeah is it's own city within Miami-Dade County. Hialeah has it's own police and fire departments. You could tell out of towners that you're from Miami to keep things simple, but Hialeah is more specific.

It was called the cocaine wars. All the winners took over the businesses, city hall and police department. That's the way it has stayed to this day. Basically the American dream ala Tony Montana ...You wont hear any of this on the local news but it's the truth. I was there.
