    7:25, looks like he's a girl, between the flat plastron and the round gular, shes a lady. Always be sure you lay the big torts in the reverse direction of how you flipped it over, so it doesn't build a knot in its intestines :)

    Ahhhhh, this brings back memories.In the Phillippines, once a week my brother and I would rub the german shepards down looking for ticks. The doge loved the way I massaged them. During high school my gf asked how I got so good at massaging. I learned an important lesson, never tell a girl you got good at massaging because you used it to look for ticks.

You are such loving, caring human beings. Keep doing what your doing and i hope people take a leaf out of your book. Im so glad ive found your channels, ive nearly finished back watching both channels. I love how you give updates at the beginning, its nice to know how your rescues are doing. ❤❤

    Speaking as a farm boy, one of the best organic anti tick methods is chickens. Tick granules will kill the pests but they could be toxic. Chickens will get along with the tortoise, clean up any extra tortoise food, eat all the ticks and turn it into an egg that the tortoise can also eat.

  • @lynpersaud2356

    Great care you give to those guy. They are now endangered. However you found some ticks on them but very important that you clean their home where they sleep. Because ticks live in the cracks and Crevices where they breed Kay their eggs. If you ck you might ask your vet for Remedy to spray them dead. Rake care of your baniss

    You should put some rubbing alcohol on the ticks. It kills them, especially the smaller ones

  • @karajsmith3217
    @karajsmith3217 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The only way to kill ticks is to set them on fire! I usually use a match blow it out and stick the ticket on the fire end. Or I put the tick in an ash tray or a saucer and use the match again and set it on fire. Next time you take ticks off use the tweezers and pinch it at the end that is stuck in the skin, and not pinching the tortoise or animal, and pull it off so that you get the head too.
