What I hate about people playing and watching these surreal games and animation shorts is that most of the time they tend to brush it off saying something like "well that was weird" instead of appreciating the massive amount of work and beauty of these projects. Your video does straight up say "beautifully surreal" in the title so that's great.

For the bbq lmao it's for the next episode because Joel G exchange Ena episodes names For example: Temptation Stairway is supposed to be the real name of Extinction Party and Extinction Party is supposed to be the name of Temptation Stairway because temptation stairway are the stairs Ena use to see Moony and Extinction Party is the party that Ena said she doesn't like it and she want to go home. So the name of the episode 2 of ENA season 2 will be ENA: The Worker like we can see at the beginning of the trailer. I hope you understood what I'm trying to say lmao
Fun Fact it was revealed in a live stream that this game will be Free for anyone to play but if you want so extra stuff there will be a paid version known as the Dev edition Joel and the rest of his team said the Dev edition wouldn’t be more then 10-20 bucks

6:15 definitely agree but it would probably fit into more prestigious and less comercial awards than the oscars. Maybe Berlin's golden bear? Oscars suck tbh
I assume the giant creature/character in the sky gathering people is meant to be riding a sort of grill made of bones or something to that effect, so you calling it a rib is probably close. Not every character is doing that theme, but if I had to assume everyone who works for that figure in the chair might have a 'cooking' motif to them in some way, similar to how there looks like a grill fork attached to it. The ballerina with a spatula head as well. Either that or they're things/workers ENA has to find or get for the BBQ. I'd assume that's where the name comes from at face value, and it looks like this ENA for one reason or another works for it as well and is being given a really taxing job, with a more dystopian/totalitarian theme to it.
ENA( and many other Netcore style media) is great for game form. So abstract, and since it is inspired by ps2 graphics you can cut a bit short on modeling and requirements making it quicker and available to more people.

the way the characters speak in humorous and crazy ways? maybe. in visual style and overall direction for this "nonsensical" story? maaaybe maybe not. I mean, he could TOTALLY do a game like this, though it's probably not his style
Not gonna lie, oddheader would be terrible reaction material. Like, his videos are so compact and digestible that they're only really enjoyable if you watch them on your own.
