The fact he developed an autoimmune condition post-Lyme isn't surprising. Ankylosing Spondylitis is one of the few autoimmune diseases that more frequently occurs in men than women. He had some non-specific health complaints and was looking for answers, that doesn't make him a "mental case." People with such illnesses are frequently stigmatized enough. He had health issues, but could have also independently had or developed mental health issues. It's pretty hard to be so successful and get a disability when you are launching at life.
No, mental and physical illnesses and disabilities have been so de-stigmatized that they aren’t taken seriously anymore!! People with mental and physical disabilities and chronic illnesses like myself NEED these issues to be stigmatized again so our suffering isn’t minimized and dismissed like this.
The pain is very debilitating! I had a spinal fusion in 2014 and I still suffer in excruciating pain! My fusion was of L4, L5 and S1! I have many sleepless nights due to the pain . That part is definitely not in his head !
His decision to NOT use a bomb so innocents don’t die, shows this was Extremely Personal & Specific. Unfortunately he felt he needed a Scapegoat to make his point.
Yet he loved that Ted guy. And murdered a man just doing his job. Plus he was rich and his family could even afford surgery and pain meds without any insurance
From what it seems to me his back was getting worse and could not be totally fixed and would just get worse as the years go on and he was mad he could not have a normal life and would probably end up in a wheelchair. He told his friend he couldn't date or have s because of his back and he was upset
You are very blessed and privileged to not believe how some people can genuinely be that sick, even from childhood. Your typical woke lack of empathy for everything you have “de-stigmatized” is sickeningly evil. This situation and your response to it is proof of how “de-stigmatization” has only harmed people with serious and chronic mental and physical disabilities and diseases, and how the current medical system is built upon taking advantage of people like Luigi and myself and gaslighting us and telling us that we are either lying or it’s “all in our head” or all because of “anxiety”, and accuse us of making it all up, because the more sick we are and the coverage they deny the more profits they get.
@@PerezHiltonlaughing at pain? wtf Perez. 👎👎👎 as a massage therapist he sounds quite informed on his pain and I can tell when people are faking it. The first thing we learn is analysis of gait and Luigi’s clearly shows issues with hips and back..This is gross and ignorant on your part.
If he has Ankaloising Spondylitis, no wonder he went nuts. Incredibly painful & likely wheelchair bound in the future. I have the genetic marker & watched for it all my life. Yearly xrays. 65 now. Younger men get it the WORST. 😢😢😢
I had scoliosis spinal fusion in 1994. I have never recovered emotionally. Depression since 15 and I think we are not listening to the patient. Nobody ever asked for a psych evaluation. Maybe jail will evaluate
Maybe its possible, but I have a laundry list of medical issues and I'm in my 30s it started in my late 20s and now I am disabled. I get a lot of that from ins and Dr's too. When I had MT stroke I MADE a new Dr do an MRI. She had to apologise when it came back I had, indeed had a stroke.
How a persons ears are set on their head tells a lot. Check out low set ears and killers. Its crazy how many serial killers have low set ears. "Eyes above the ears should be a person to fear" lol ive always been told that growing up. 😅
I do think he has back issues - that's so awful, and I feel bad for him (and anyone!) who has that. I've heard that it is debilitating pain that never goes away. For the IBS, diet can help with that, and for the other things, they may/may not have been in his head; I don't know. It does not sound as if his health was good, unfortunately, despite his young age and fitness level.
There are thousands of people who live with debilitating pain..... If you have had pain but it has been resolved you can empathize with those dealing with unrelenting pain. However, you don't see those people blaming killing others. Something went really wrong with him mentally.
It's curious to me that he disappeared for a month, then shows up at the exact time the CEO was leaving, and was found with a Unibomber starter kit. People who knew him can only speculate that it has something to do with his back pain because he was otherwise normal. Where was he for the month that he was missing, and had access to a 3D printer to make a gun?
No ,i have many of the same issues.i am much older than him though.many treatments and medicine cause alot if these problems. Including premnant damage to immune system. Getting IVIG treatments every 4 weeks now.
Not even a desk job! I'm on my 3rd fusion and I'm fused from t3 to s1 and both si joints . Il never be able to sit comfortably! Chronic pain sucks ! Ona other note I think he may have been seeing the CEO romantically as this was very personal
Does anyone else find this humourous? ...an anti-big-corporation, and is of a privileged background eating at multinational corporate chains? (McDonald's and Starbucks) Betcha he had a loyalty card. No mom and pops for him! Nice to have the luxury to have a high minded anti corp perspective while enjoying the perks
Imagine how mad he would be if he wasn't a member of the privileged class, did not have the freedom to jet off to Hawaii and work remotely, making money while he is sick and in pain. Imagine how upset he would be if he did not have the financial support of his family growing up and was born to a lesser station of wealth.
That’s because the rich aren’t the 1%, the 1% are the billionaires and corporations, whom oppress even those who come from very rich backgrounds like him!
How about holding insurance companies accountable for robbing the working class. This is why America is so backwards. People like you don’t help either. Just because the CEO didn’t use a gun to kill millions he is just as bad for denying people and dying from that result. Stop siding with billionaires unless you’re one.
It is not the doctor’s fault or insurance company that these conditions are happening to individuals, they are there to assist and provide treatment modalities. And if you are not happy with the treatment; find alternatives. Medical providers can only do so much! I understand if it’s terminal and need care approved right away that’s a different story, that I don’t wish on anyone. I do believe open enrollment should be reviewed twice a year, not just once, in case you do need to change.

@ thank you 🥰
I couldn't imagine living with that kind of pain 24/7😓
You find a way to keep going
What else can one do 🤷♀️
My Aunt lived her entire life in pain, she never murdered anyone.
Calm down Karen's 🙄

It's so obvious that he's not the right guy. They are framing him, hard. SMH
He's the right guy.
I agree, it's an ongoing investigation, and they have leaked all the evidence to everyone but his lawyer😂😂😂
Perez i for one really appreciate your coverage on Luigi Mangione. I especially appreciate info today.

There was an xray on uk news of his back with 3 screws in it at the bottom. Im 99% sure he wasnt lying
The nails in his back "only in his head"?😅

All this is to over shadow Diddys stuff or least try and quiet it as long as possible

Where were his parents
?
Siblings???
How and when did this young boy have his first injury?
He ghosted them.
Why not think that it was the pain that made him think he had nothing to lose so decided to go off someone he thought should lose everything 🤷♂️

Yes, I also noticed the irony of him frequenting corporations.

Hyppochrondiac???😮
Perhaps!
He should’ve just changed insurance companies, my opinion or added additional coverage

Hypochondriac
Same thing I was gonna say
A lot of health issues to have for such a young man.
You clearly have t had health problems ten. Lyme disease opens a whole host of health issues over time. As do spinal injuries.
