@Bernadette Banner Hello ! Image meeting you here? I was just watching one of your videos yesterday and was saying to myself, Oh I bet she would love visitng La Lande..... now so close....would love to see a visit "collab". Stephanie ???
@@gemmaneve8052 yes I always wondered what his career is as his suits are very expensive and he's always travelling with Steph. Also seems to have a high class cultured knowledge of design, pottery, jewellery, dining etiquette etc.
It's a big responsibility, the patreon is a non profit exclusively for restoring the chateau, she lives off youtube. She's one of the creators that does it right.
Diana is becoming an Archetype at Lalande, she is outside in the form of a statue but now she is going to be inside! She is the perfect representative of life at Lalande! You made a good choice Stephanie, she will bring good energy to the Chateau ;)
@GaslitWorld f. Melissa B That’s exactly why I love people who keep the tradition alive without the killing of foxes! Have you seen the cross country runners taking the foxes’ place?
I love the Diana painting, she is so pretty yet, watch out for her fearsness. Also known as Artemis. Member of the Gods, that lived on my Olympus. No doubt this is a woman painted to make her memorable in this way. Really a lovely painting.
Seriously - Philip is your PERFECT Sidekick. Where Philip goes laughter and beautiful things are found. I enjoy laughing with and at Philip so much. I can never get enough of your joy and whimsy Stephanie. You find joy where ever you go. Always looking for the silver lining. The yellow chairs are spectacular and the mirror is just lovely.
I am grateful the Stephanie is buying truly lovely items for her personal rooms. The amount of time she spends there due to filming and editing etc makes it important to have an interior you absolutely love.
Love going along and THANK YOU FOR TELLING US THE PRICES!!!!! The price info is so rarely shared and it makes it so interesting to know what things cost. I love everything that you purchased, especially the gold leafed mirror with the new mirror insert as well as the Diana portrait. That portrait was worth whatever you paid for it!! I mean it!!
The rarest gift is philip! You never find a young man with The taste and flair he has now days he's a treasure. This was such fun watching you two you make me smile Thank you
Phillip is an interesting mix: He gets high scores for being a gentlemen, his knowledge and interest in archaeology is so suited to Stephanie's journey and he has Creative Instinct and what makes him interesting it is it in contrasts to his "easy going, go along to get along" personality that suggests he utilizes his brain at all times without wasting his energy on nonconstructive things. I found in my experience that people that are highly creativity come with an untampered temperament. Phillip doesn't show any signs of an aggressive temperament with the exception to how his table is set as his creativity over cedes. Stephanie brings out the very best in people with the radiation of "star like illuminating brilliance" that is a Godly quality, in my opinion. People are human and I am sure all have their flaws but this channel's editing emphasizes the staffs positive personalities and their talents in such a way that is beneficial to their futures where ever their skills take them and also it makes for comfortable viewing.
I am so envious of the French access to beautiful antique and heritage furniture. Just as soon as it's possible, I'm going to rent a van and head south on a shopping expedition!
@@wholesome122 at least US had a huge European migration bringing their style, heirlooms, architecture etc. Australia is so young, you would be lucky to get fancy 1970 cocktail glasses in the antique shops here. Thrifting for clothes is even worse 😭
Phillip - you have such wonderful taste & the BEST eye for detail. Can't wait to see everything you've purchased, lovingly restored and in it's own place at La Lande Stephanie! x
Philip is so sweet and helpful. He certainly has a great eye for beautiful things and placement. I love everything you bought; it will go well in the chateau. This was a great antique hunt, I truly enjoyed it with all the interactions and fellowship. 🌈💕🙋♀️
Diane painting looks a little like madame Pompadour. But funny, the second painting looks like yourself. The green chair is the winner for me. Thanks for video. And hello from Montreal Canada.
Stephanie and Philip, I want to say a big thank you for taking us shopping with you today. I enjoyed it tremendously even though I couldn't buy anything☹ ☺💖💚
So funny comment and yet lovely. I’ve had the same feeling just when she said to Philip: “..And now I have to redo my hair once again.” 23:17 😬😁😄 Love the sarcasm in her voice

OMG, I don't believe I've ever seen Phillip so elated as when you complimented him for having first spotted all your finds, purchases!! What a delight to see Stephanie!
Diana the Huntress is absolutely perfect and GORGEOUS. I would have been upset if you left her behind. Such a wonderful find. All of the things you bought are lovely.
Thank you Thank you Thank you Stephanie for giving a shoutout to Bernadette Bamner! That made my day! If she ever did a workshop at LaLande I would definitely love to sign up!!! Two of my favorites coming together!!!!
Bravo for getting Diana! I used to deal in 18th century furniture and paintings and if you hadn't bought her you would have always had her on your mind (mine was an oil of Dogs). You would never find another. She is so perfect for Lalande x
Well done, Philip !! One of these times will you please take us on a shopping trip and teach as you go? Tell us what you are seeing and why you think they are good buys.
Definitely me. I love a good antique hunt and I love french furniture. Unfortunately not much around in Australia. I am also very attracted to chairs but there's only so many you can have.
Unfortunately for us living so far away from France.. these genuine antiques will skyrocketed in price once it leaves France. Things that costs Stephanie one or two hundreds euros there will be in the thousands near us.
@@arifrosli3305 Absolutely! Even second hand stores are often much more expensive here, let alone dedicated antique fares where the sellers know the value of their goods. Beautiful mirror, and I love the yellow chairs, and Phillip's green chair. So right about the comfort, Stephanie! I love French furniture, but so often it is not large and roomy for my tall men.
