As I've said on other sites, I think The EBU should offer Netherlands an automatic place in the 2025 as a one off. Would help to repair the damage and build bridges. There has been 27 songs in the 2015 final when Australia were fast tracked to the final
Those 3 only ever are announced when the participants list is revealed. Also Australia isn’t allowed to announce before the participants list is revealed.
Yeah I've seen that but as I've mentioned on my socials I'm not really convinced. The evidence is flimsy and tbh we don't need more generic radio-friendly pop. She's a good vocalist, but her music wouldn't really stand out much.
@@ESCHayden based on what I’ve read, I think she follows people on social media from the same team that handle the BBC’s Eurovision involvement, and they may also handle the BBC’s New Years Eve concert, and I think she’ll do that instead of Eurovision
They haven't said that. MRT published their broadcast plans which include ESC&JESC 2025, but they're yet to publish their budget. That's when we'll see whether they are participating or not.
Malta haven't officially confirmed as it turns out, but if they're doing a NF called Malta EUROVISION SONG CONTEST it stands to reason they'll participate, so I've decided to leave them in. As for Bulgaria, they tweeted about it the other day although it was deleted shortly afterwards.
With things in the middle east with Israel i can see ireland doing a u turn and pulling out off the contest next year along with a few other countries in protest
