Just want to say thanks for 1,000 likes. Some years ago, I noticed that a video on my old channel got 1,000 views, and I was so excited by that, so to see 1,000 people like this video is amazing.
I do also want to encourage yet more love to Hillywood, Billie Eilish and the original Good Omens series, as they have put in 90% of the effort here, and I want this video to be a useful and interesting resource, not really something just for my personal gain.

Yeah, it was surprisingly easy to find every shot, because they were all so perfectly recreated.
Hilly has always been so good at replicating mannerisms of whoever she plays- always so impressive!

I absolutely support Hillywood for not wanting their content shown by others but I love these side-by-sides. Wish they would put out their own so I wouldn't feel guilty loving these.

@@amos.rand_vfx I have a HW Good Omens playlist wherein I have the video, behind the scenes, Crowley's video diary, Billie's video.... and also this one. I put this one on single repeat often (and Hillywood's on single repeat often, just depends on my mood). You did an amazing job with this side-by side. I only wish it included the rest since so much of it was direct parallel or recreation to fit this revised script.

I might make the rest of the parody when I have time, though there's lots of it, and probably more that isn't in clips on TH-cam (it's easy to get clips from TH-cam, but hard to get from the show). I made the video as much for myself as for others, having realised nobody else had done one yet, so I'm glad to have been the one to do that for you.
I have a feeling they don't because they don't have the rights to use those clips. But I too love watching the side by sides - just adds to my enjoyment of watching their channel ❤

It's been two months and I'm still marveling at the side-by-side comparisons to Good Omens. And I honestly think that the parody makes the parts inspired by the Billy Eilish video look better than the Billy Eilish video.
Absolutely agree. Hilly's production is better than Billie's in many places. WOW I do realize that Billie was going for a darker look, but Hillywood's lighting effects (facial lighting etc) shows how Billie's could have been lit better. without losing the dark look. Just my opinion.
the whole thing is so accurate but 1:50 - 2:14 is INSANELY close to the original, the mannerisms are perfect

I have watched Good Omens and I do not remember seeing how Crowley fell from Heaven. Can anyone tell me where can I locate it in the serie, please?
The parody drew inspiration from both Good Omens, and the music video for "all the good girls go to hell" by Billie Eilish. The shots of falling and of Crawley walking forward in front of the fire are recreations of the music video, not of shots from the series.

I realize it's not a perfect rhyme with "smite," but "team" is just an odd choice.
Also "side" is extra British for "team." As in "don't let the side down," and getting someone "on side." So, it would be even better for this show.

...so I should blame the weird pop star for the odd lyrical choice, not these nice folks. Also, this is better than the original moany-teen-mumbles-into-a-mic version. I'm not a Billie Eilish fan, as it turns out.
