    I am loving your videos! I am so tired of seeing ombré heart check list boxes, etc. I love watching plan with me videos but some of them are so repetitive and over done, covering every bit of white space so you can't even see the actual planning. Great tip about making permanent adhesive reposition able by sticking it on the back of your hand! Also using the erasure to remove adhesive. I'm sitting here watching all your videos writing a list of all the tips and tricks I learn! 📝

      I second that. This felt like a really fresh idea which was a fantastic layout which still left space in the planner to, well, plan. I'll definitely consider using scrapbook paper in my planner. I have also got a collection of paint chips and wallpaper samples which I'm sure I could make work in a layout now.

      That's what I'm sitting here thinking. I don't see the point in paying $50-100 for something that a person says they can't use and then spending a few hundred to turn it into something they can "use." With all the stickers, I don't know how some know what's going on.

      +Tiffany Harris Yup, all these gals uncoiling their $55 or more Erin Condren planner to put it in a $100 Kikki K or something and then covering every part of the page with stickers. I have an Erin Condren Life Planner and love it. Part of the price you pay is for the sturdy coil and the design that went into the layout of the pages. Wouldn't it be easier and more cost effective to make your own planner inserts that are super basic and blank?

      +SUFlyGirl95 That's what I've been doing. I have a hybrid approach. I found a planner for $1 that's a basic monthly planner with a pocket that functions as a bill planner. My main one is an Arc notebook that I make inserts for. I look at youtube videos and on pinterest to find stuff that may semi-work for me and go from there as I find what works and what doesn't. I was shocked to see her bust out scrapbook paper. Something new!

    • @anaidkc
      @anaidkc 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +SUFlyGirl95 Same!!! Yeah, that cookie cutter planning is very ....... yawn! And I have been using the Orange Circle Studio agenda planner from Barnes N' Noble, which has similar vertical week planning as do most plan with me videos...... But as I travel often and am not home, I have to think outside the box as decorating because I don't have much materials with me. And this video makes me feel its ok.......... I use lots of post its that I glue on the days, and some washi, but mostly just write and sort of doodle or draw or write out a quote or add a word from a magazine....... and the more I get away from the traditional PWM kind of planning......... The more I am enjoying it and the more it makes sense as of accomplishing things go. I find it much more functional.

    I really liked this because sometimes washi is not the best thing for making dividers or strips at the top or bottom of a page especially if you want to write on it. And they're harder to find locally in a variety; of course you can order them but sometimes it's just easier to go to Walmart and pick up a 100 pack of cool variety little scrapbook papers for 3 dollars and 5 dollars. I like to sometimes use strips for titles and headlines and write on them with metallic gels.

      Omg! I definitely agree! I watched some of the other youtubers and couldn't stand all the visual noise on the page. Like how do you even see your to-dos in those. I might have chosen a different color scheme and designs myself, but overally the placement and amount of stuff looks nice!

    Although this is an older video I enjoyed watching it so much. I started off scrapbooking to help with my anxiety and now I Create t-shirts and other crafts so I kind of let my scrapbooking fall to the wayside. But I also love my planner and organizing my life but did not want to spend so much on limited sticker themes every month. Your video helped me remember all of my beautiful scrapbook paper and paper pads packed away in a huge box in my garage. Pulled it out tonight made a spread for the month and I am in love. Thanks for the inspiration.

    I absolutely love the scrapbook paper! I never would have thought to use it. My first Erin Condren is being delivered today and I've been watching Plan With Me videos for weeks trying to decide how I want to design mine. So many people who use stickers and washi end up crowding their pages and it ends up looking very juvenile. This looks beautiful, sophisticated and functional! It's perfect! Thank you so much for sharing!

      +MsSunnyMuffins No worries. In all my years of planning, I find that there are some season in my life that I don't have the time or space in my planner to decorate. Our planner has to adjust with our individual lifestyle. And so what's important is that the planner is used in the most effective ways within our own unique lives. Hi! New subbie here! I love how you decorated the planner without washi, such great ideas! Love all the clear stamps too, I haven't bought any of those yet because I don't know how to use them but they seem simple enough!

      @JeePapeterie 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Anna Tyler I know what you mean. I love Etsy. But it's also fun & frugal to find other creative ways to decorate without spending too much. I got this paper pad at Michael's during their $5 hot-buy sale. and I only used a small fraction of it so far. That $5 invested is going to last me a looong time! LOL Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to comment. :)

      +BathTimeFunTime I totally understand. :) I'm not always able to do a scrapbook-like planner layout because it does require some extra "me" time. Some days I can get my craft on, and some days I don't even have time to do the basics.
