He didn't want to to re sign after how hoyer embarrassed our team and our leader. He did it because he hoped some of the amazing team chemistry we had last year could still return with him, in spite of the worst executive in all of sports. Chances were close to zero, but he's a good guy and still had some hope. jed should not be allowed in our facilities.

when he did not go out and get better relief pitching and 1 more quality starter. Merryweather seems
to be spending his career on the DL. Hendricks for now belongs in middle relief.

Honestly, I lost respect for the upper management when they threw David Ross under the bus. They vietmatly say he's going the be the manager and then pull the rug from underneath him. To me, the manner in which he was fired was truly disgusting. It wouldn't be a shocker it the Cubs lost 100 games this year. For the sake of the fans I hope it doesn't happen. The most frustrating part is there doesn't seem to be a lot of offensive adjustments. When was the last time the Cubs attempted a bunt or even feint a bunt? Chicago is one of the few baseball markets that have two teams and they both stink. Honestly, at this point, I would consider building the team for next year, since this year is really close to being a lost cause.
Nah getting rid of Ross was the right call. The issue is the fact that our players just suck and Jed Hoyer isn’t willing to sell or do anything to build this team
Cubs fan since the 60s. They can't win, even with Bellinger. May as well cut him loose. The Cubs started out strong, then sh.it the bed. Stick a fork in 'em, they're done.

Cutthroat jed crapped on our history, honor and culture when he destroyed our team with a selfish and moronic pen stroke. I'm just blown away all Cubs fans didn't stand up for what was right that sad, sad day. I'll never forget the morning I saw we hired the Brewers manager. I thought that's a strange dynamic. I liked Andy Green and thought he did a decent job and what role would cc have in our historic and honorable franchise. The Cubs will never get another cent from me until that shameful action is corrected and I suspect the Curse of Cutthroat jed is here to stay.
