@34601k Actually, Botswana is one of the most economically successful countries in Africa, and its successful economic reform has been studied by many economists and highlighted in many an economic development textbook. It has a higher GDP per-capita than many countries in the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia, including a little country called "China" (ever heard of it?).
Here's the thing.. you might be envious of this dude but being the president of a country like Botswana is like being the manager of McDonalds. "Miss Botswana" is probably sporting a unibrow.

I am not surprised that he wanted a tall thin woman, he is a man, and most men seem to want thin women, its unfortunate but its highly unlikely any man would want a short fat woman, though they maybe missing out and some great women. I am short small woman. Even though I am little I still don't fit his criteria, to bad.

@adronias empirical measurements of attractiveness aren't as objective as you might think, considering the very broad range of human preference when it comes to facial features. the only body measurement that universally determine's a female's attractiveness is waist-to-hip ratio, since that has to do with fertility.
it's also well known that people in general prefer "average" faces, so saying Ana is only average actually means she's more attractive to more people than HFW
@upabittoolate i'm not saying that ALL factors of beauty can be objectively measured, if you actually read my comments then you would know that. i said that SOME things can be measured because SOME physical traits indicate fertility, which makes them more attractive to people. there are a few characteristics that are common among humans regardless of culture, not everything is a result of nurture, plus nature and nurture aren't mutually exclusive.

I really do 'cause I had some evil girlfriends (2 were >6ft tall & they were really cruel). On the same token, I had a girlfriend that was 4'9" and when things weren't going right, she flipped out too. So don't think behavior & height have some kind of converse proportions.

@upabittoolate i'm not assuming that, various studies have shown it, and any recent sociology, psychology, or biology textbook will tell you that. hormones do affect facial structure because testosterone promotes bone density (hence osteoporosis is more common in women), and varying degrees of bone density create various facial structures, such as a prominent jawline, which is a signal of high testosterone.

@upabittoolate their have actually been many studies as to what attracts people, the cosmetic industry has studied this at length while Beauty is in the eye of the beholder there are general things that all people find attractive and unattractive, the more symmetrical someones face is the more attractive they are, there are genetic traits that people are unconsciously attracted too as well, physical health is also a big factor, we for example people with obvious deformities t be less attractive

@upabittoolate it's fairly common knowledge among anyone who knows basic biology that an abundance of testosterone or estrogen directly produces certain physical features that are attractive to the opposite sex, regardless of culture or personal preference. denying that is basically denying natural selection all together.
btw i have no idea how you were trying to define "objective," but any social psychology text will tell you the same thing and provide evidence

@upabittoolate attractiveness(notice I did not say beauty)can be measured,can be studied, its not just an "airy fairy up in the clouds there is no answer everyone is different" kind of thing people KNOW what they find attractive,and it can be studied just search "attractiveness studies" you will find some on google, even on Wiki but one example EVERYONE all of us like symmetricalness,evenly proportioned limbs and facial features,these are traits common in all people attractive people

@upabittoolate they are somewhat objective because a lot of facial features are related to a person's fertility and how beneficial their genes are. for example, a strong jawline in males is a result of high testosterone, which indicates that he's virile and makes him more attractive to women. the problem is that there are plenty of women who are attracted to guys without strong jawlines, so this information can't be used to determine which males will find a partner and which males won't
