Another great video. I loved the " Omitted Effect Part Lament" theme at 8:19. You should do that in every video for a kit that lacks the effect part but gives you the handles lol.
The Victory 2 gundam was the 1st gunpla I ever made. My only tools was pare of nail clippers with a file. I should get this kit as I am now a fairly good builder and have them stand together to show how much I have grown as a builder.
I really think Bandai is being too cheap by not including any Beam Sabers for this kit. Still a great kit, Some gold spraycan/paint would be great for the ulgy yellow gold.
Hey guys! You know those awful poly caps for the weapon binders? Here's how to fix them! I was playing around with my V2 Assault Buster tonight, and got so fed up with the wings just falling off the T-shaped piece that's supposed to hold them up that I disassembled the wings to get the poly cap out to see if I'd put them in the wrong way or something. Since the kit wasn't glued, all I needed to gently prise apart the plastic parts were my nails, but to get the poly cap out of the hole it sits in, you're going to need some kind of rod - I used the straw from a bic ballpoint, it fits through the hole in the plastic part, but not through the hole in the poly cap, so I could push the poly cap out easily. Then I tried seeing which end of the poly cap had the firmer grip on the T-piece, and noticed that the poly cap itself gets kind of deformed while its holding the ball - it's much wider where the ball is inserted. So I decided to try just inserting poly cap into the wing binder with the ball firmly seated in its socket during assembly, and lo and behold, the wing binder is now gripping the T-piece with a deathgrip and not only doesn't fall off with the slightest provocation, it requires some actual pressure to position the binder. I am supremely happy with this discovery for obvious reasons, especially since I haven't assembled the other Buster pack yet and won't need to *dis* assemble it to do it right. If I'm not completely mistaken, the same operation can also be done to any other kit using that type of poly cap - I'm looking specifically at the Build Burning and Try Burning, though from the instruction booklet scans, it could get a little tricky to actually get the parts together properly.
just fyi , V2AB keeps the micro missile skirts ( blue parts on the front skirt ) and the side things on the outer side of the legs ( thrusters ?¿ ) that you removed. IT's weird because the image on the gundam wiki doesnt have them , but any other image on google images and even on the box art and box shots of the assembled model have them. And also the manual if you follow the v2ab route you build it with them.
Like how the kit looks, but the mg looks soooooooo much better. So even through the mg has tons of problems, if I could get one I would probably buy it 😅
by looking at that railgun looking hand cannon, i think youre supposed to insert the white extended part front part first to simulate the compact mode?
I just finished this and the change in the blue fins on the back, if you use the stickers you get the Buster of Assault fins... Also as I have all the Victory versions, I have plenty of effect parts, but why no effect parts in box. Git it together Bandai.
+Sono the beam effects are unique to the Victory line. However they are the same in all versions of the Victory, so if you have the standard V2 or the Victory/V-Dash you can use those.
Can you take off the thrusts on the back of the V2 Gundam and equip it to other Gunpla? Because I'm making a custom RX-78-2 and it needs wings. If not are there any other gunpla with the Wing's of Light thing that can be equipped to other Gunpla?
Russell Sales if u are making a hg custom u can get the build fighters skull weapon pack it comes with the pieces to put any backpack from a gunpla on to any other gunpla but if u want a good choice for wings it really depends on the look u are going for
hi, planning to buy 3 hg kits, already have: build and try burning gundam build strike and star build strike exia. what kits would you recomend? please respond
when is this getting an MG treatment? T.T and i hope bandai's doing an MG 3.0 back.. and re-do the MG zeta? :p nice vid btw V2 assault buster is one of my fav. kits

Theibault With the way HGs are going these days I think you'd get tired of that song real quick! >:D
ZakuAurelius I loved that part of the review.
I think my reaction when i saw handles without beam effects was pretty much the same.
nice review bro, I wasn't crazy about this kit before, I thought it had to much going on, but with all the options of this kit it is growing on me
Get one!
*walks away in shame because of no beam saber effect parts*
Phosphorus *same because they didnt have the light of wings*
10:50 You can flip the white part and push it inward to store the barrel. It's actually more secure that way than having a slide mechanic.

The review I was looking forward to the most. Looks like a good kit. I wasn't really sold on it before the review.
Morganix01 If you weren't sold on it after all my enthusiasm then I don't know what else I could have done to sell ya!
nice one! this is the reason why i bought the gunpla expo clear version of this kit

Agreed.
great review man and the part when you slow motion about the beam sabers is awesome LOL , I will be picking this kit up after seeing your review.

+Sebastian Palm Good on ya! That's an annoying feature of the kit for sure.
this is another kind of kit that i like small yet not flimsy at all
It's a great kit!
Great review. Im glad i held out on buying the regular hg v2. Definately getting this

aahhhhhh V2, Veetwo, interesting...
couldnt you use any 1/144 effect part for the sabers or is the victorys beam sabers super special like Turn A? =p

Now I kinda want 3 to match my standard V2 HGUC.
u deserve many subscribers

Russell Sales you'll have to modify the connection a bit, but it won't be hard to do
Are there any other Gundams that have wings that can be equipped with different Gunpla?

*What a great HG kit, beam effects aside*
But if you buy HG Victory 2 ( not assault buster but normal ), you get the beam sabers effect
What type of beam saber effect part does this kit use?
can you just have the regular wing binders.
how small is the kit
Does this kit comes in rg or mg? Searched amazon an only saw the hg.
papijelly MG V2 GUNDAM Ver KA.. check his other review
hi, planning to buy 3 hg kits, already have:
build and try burning gundam

Just go for whatever kit looks good to you!
+ZakuAurelius any that you personally favourite though? You dont have to answer if its too much trouble, just if you can ㅠㅠ
John Lee Lol, well the new HGUC RX-78-2 Gundam Revive Version is pretty awesome.
Ok, thank you! Ill take a look
How much it cost a V2 Buster Gundam
15 dollars on HLJ
I bought this kit. It's pretty awesome. Shame that it's so incredibly tiny.
when is this getting an MG treatment? T.T

nice vid btw V2 assault buster is one of my fav. kits
I could see this getting a Ver.Ka MG someday, possibly. But who knows! ^^
Hey Zaku A, can u pls tell me what does OOB mean?
Anime21 J out of box review
Eris De Belen, thanks, that also makes sense
up for this
Whats oob?
PKMNtrainerdanang Out-Of-Box. Means I didn't do any extra work on it. What you see is exactly what you'll get right out of the box.
Oh ok thanks
The gundam is so plain it's basically a blank canvas screaming "Custom me!" to everyone.
10:50 i will say its a mega beam launcher LOL
I dont get how mg screw this up. Hg is way better then mg
am cri no beam sabrs 😢😭 :,( i cri evry tim
