- As ISIS and other extremists threaten, enslave and kill Christians, is their history in the birthplace of their faith coming to an end?
‘There is a global war against Christianity’ states Timothy Radcliffe, former master of the order of preachers. According to a Vatican report, 100,000 Christians are martyred every year. Others are harassed, raped or attacked, and subjected to forced displacement and the destruction of their places of worship.
Nowhere is the problem more severe than in the Middle East. Under Saddam Hussein, almost 1.5 million Christians lived in Iraq. Today, there are less than 200,000. ISIS have vowed to cleanse the areas they control of Christians and even outside the caliphate, Christians are regarded with suspicion and seen to represent the West.
But despite the threats, some Christians are reluctant to leave. As one explains, ‘If minority groups start to leave, other minorities will become more vulnerable’.
This documentary was first released in 2016.

Western Christians are too western, enjoy their lives and most of them never been out of their countries and have no idea what is life look like I’m developing countries. But Lord Jesus dose and he is coming back to take us home and we will be rewarded.
As a Western Christian I am horrified by the actions of a nation that’s motto is One Nation Under God. We can’t speak of Jesus it’s almost against the law anymore. We are persecuted and mocked. I’m in fear of everything to come because it’s no longer at the front door but In the house. Where will we go to seek refuge? Where will we we seek asylum? I pray for my children who are being brainwashed by their schools and the propaganda of the media. I have tried to get them to understand that what we are facing goes back to a time we can only read about. I hope to be able to take my children to the Holy Land so maybe they can understand what our history is. I know that the day is coming and all I can do is pray for it to come quickly 😢

Yes, OK and TN are good states. I have always regarded them highly. Love you. However, it's not easy to just come over to the US. There are many factors involved. Mafia, money and what not. Central Americans make up the bulk of recent immigrants to the US. They may be Christian of some denomination but they need to behave better once they are in the US.
I feel sorry for Arab, Coptic (Egyptian), Assyrian, Antiochian(in Turkey) , Armenian, Chaldean(Iraqi) , Syrian and other ancient Christians living in persecution.

I always pray for them. My grandmother was Armenian and her parents lived towards the end days of the Ottoman Empire. I belive they left shortly before 1915 and after my grandmother got married, she ended up living in the west. It's a sad situation - no-one should be persecuted for their faith.

There is a theological explanation for the persecution of christians in mainly islamic countries. Unfortunately in Quran the non Muslims are called "kafir". The word is almost identical to the world "undermenschen"=subhumans that the Nazis used for non Arian people......

Greetings from Athens! I have Sunni friends. As women we support each other a lot. Sometimes the joke is I am white Algerian aunt. When they first came here they were surprised that the majority of Greeks connect Islam with Turks alone. The Greeks get upset at the mere thought of them!
On the 28th of September I lost my mom she was 68 and she had been sick for a long time and I was taking care of her since 2007. That was my cross to bear according to my faith and I praised God for all the hardship I received. She died in my arms under extreme conditions I could not prevent nor help.
These two ladies my sisters my muslim sisters have been standing by me like I have for them. I have no issue with believing people I have an issue with people thinking by perfect practice like Erdogan and his kind are entitled to force things on others.
Christianity evolved faster on this. If my Church tries to force anything I will simply not go. Noone keeps tabs or measures your practice. No bruise on the forehead. I do not need a drug to numb me to perform horrible things in the name of religion. Religion is a poor excuse.

I am thankful I was lead to this documentary today. I know judgement is coming to the West, it has already begun. I can’t imagine the pain and anger with the church he must have for what has been allowed to happen to his children. It’s become impossible to be apart of society in the West as a Christian. My children cannot go to schools, every time you leave the house it’s spiritually dark and the churches offer little, most don’t even preach truth. It’s very much not a place to raise children. I’d leave if given half a chance, just to be in a better environment.
