I'm hoping that you will not replace the clothing you've gotten rid of (because I think fewer clothes will make your life more peaceful and not buying more will save you money).
I’d wash those before sleeping in them in case there is formaldehyde on them or other toxic chemicals.. I know a lot things that come from other countries are sprayed with chemicals to protect from moisture damaging fibers. I know Victoria’s Secret bras have formaldehyde but I’d be concerned with bedding.
I love a good purge. I've been working on my space too. It's to the point where it's hard to decide what stays & what goes. Your videos are so cheery and uplifting. Love it!
Well done! A closet of things that fit is so nice. For a future declutter, try sitting down in jeans/trousers/shorts as well as part of a try on. Whole different level of fit check that clarifies which ones are actually wearable for real life.
For some reason I distinctly remember when you got the sage green long sleeve linen that you got rid of. I remember you were with your mom and had also ordered her something similar in color. I have to say, I wouldn’t get rid of the trench coats and dress coats. They are classics that never go out of style and are always a great addition to an outfit!! Those are something I’d love to have and always want another color or print. The Lulu jackets, too. I mean, they’d probably really come into play in California, especially in the cooler months. 😊

I just recently did the same thing with my clothes- I finally went through and ruthlessley pulled out anything I had been keeping from a past season of life where I went into an office every day and things that were no longer comfortable on my body. Clothing decluttering can be such a chore! Both physically, mentally, and emotionally!!! But it's so much better when it's done and you can no longer grab things that put you in a rut...
There is an amazing trick with hydrangeas after a couple of days when they droop. Cut the stem and put in boiling water. After an hour, put back in cold water. They will revive and look full again.
I have cozy earth sheets too ! Aren’t they so amazing ?!!! And I was eyeing the same one for like ever too ! I ended up buying the blue harbor mist colored one. But currently I’ve got driftwood on my bed, It’s actually a pretty color. & my Husband is like obsessed with the sheets now too so it’s funny lol. But before that I had the driftwood color on the bed. I also got their lounge wear & it’s by far the softest thing ever. It’s like the Matching pants and sweater it’s like so so super soft and super cute and you can wear it out or just lounge around in it, It’s very cooling as well. Sorry if I mention something you already answered in the video sometimes I miss parts of it lol.

A tip for hydrangeas to bring them back from the dead, cut the ends off at an angle so they are fresh and can drink better then put them in hot water, as hot as the sink can get, for about 10 minutes, not sure why this works but it does 👍

It's very generous of your friend to do 50%. I'm a reseller & I had to change my percentage for friends from 30% to 20% cause it wasn't worth my time. We have to wash, steam, photograph, list, store & ship the items. It's a lot more time consuming than you'd think.

I've been purging everything myself. It's a great feeling! Also, I sell EVERYTHING! Brand doesn't matter, previously thrifted doesn't matter, it all sells somewhere. If I donate it's to a local church thrift and not a large chain thrift, just a personal preference. I would rather sleep on sheets that someone I know and trust has slept on than new sheets that are unwashed. Funny how we all feel so different about things.
