    I watched a lot of your videos and today I had my road test in Alberta. I passed it on first attempt and it’s exciting. It was a 45 Minute test. It was hard, but taking a deep breath helped me through it. You will be just fine. Wish everyone who is going through it a good luck. You will make it just right.

      I am from alberta too. I heard that the tests are now 45 mins. Does that mean for the class 5 GDL they might bring you to the highway where the speed limit is around 80-100km/hr? Or that is for the advance road test? Congrats on passing your exam!

      @@amo8838 it’s exactly 45 minutes and yes they take you to highway with 100 km/ h speed. You have to merge and exit. Thank you.

    • @Canadiandrivers

    Shoulder checks: your looking at the back corner of the car?

    • @Canadiandrivers
      @Canadiandrivers 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hello,
      Great question! When doing a shoulder check, you should be looking over your shoulder to check your blind spot, which is an area not visible in your mirrors. This means you are looking towards the back corner of your car to ensure there are no vehicles, cyclists, or pedestrians in that space before changing lanes or making a turn.
      Safe driving!

    When you do parallel parking do you use blinker to right or hazards?

    • @Canadiandrivers
      @Canadiandrivers หลายเดือนก่อน

      When doing parallel parking, it's best to use your right turn signal (blinker) to indicate your intention to pull over to the curb. Using hazards is generally not necessary unless you are stopping in a hazardous situation or obstructing traffic, which shouldn't be the case during parallel parking if done correctly.

    I've watched a few of your videos and one thing that jumped at me is that you're not teaching your students how to correctly stop at "STOP" signs. They're stopping right at the sign, when they should stop at the point of maximum visibility which is slightly farther, right to the corner of the intersection.

    • @Canadiandrivers
      @Canadiandrivers 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you for your feedback! You're correct that there are different stopping positions for "STOP" signs. While it's essential to stop at the stop line or sign if marked, if there's no line, drivers should stop where they have the best visibility of oncoming traffic, which is often slightly farther ahead near the corner of the intersection. We'll make sure to emphasize this in future videos.
