The awesome thing about Heaven is she is no longer hugging walls. She is not old, she is not blind, she no longer has that bladder infection...she has eyes all right. She is looking down and don't doubt she guided your pen as you were writing these lyrics. Love you Chris!
you probably wont read this but who cares, i need to say this anyway, ive loved less than jake since i was 14 (im 21 now), seen you twice now and loved every minute of it, i found this song a couple years ago and it made me cry then, im now a student nurse in the uk who lost her grandfather a couple months ago to bowel cancer, and i listened to this song when the cancer started kicking off and it let me let out a lot of emotions that i was holding on to, pretty much cried for 15 minutes straight, so really, i just wanted to say thank you for letting me cry, i really needed it that day xx
Hey Chris, I know I am really late, but I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you know how proud of you your grandma must have been and how much you have touched the lives of so many people, through both LTJ and this. This is such a beautiful tribute that only a beautiful relationship could have inspired. I lost my mom to early onset Alzheimer's in 2015, so this hit me like a punch to the gut (but in the best way!) Truly beautiful. ❤
Having lost both of my grandmas last year, this really made me cry but it also brought back lots of happy memories too. Great song and lovely tribute Chris! Also, thanks for the awesome show in Newcastle on Tuesday 😀
Hi Chris, I was going down memory lane and wanted to hear this song again. I enjoyed working on this project with you. I pray all is well with you and your family. RIP Granny
