Upcoming Book Fairs: Saturday 19th October - The Oxford Book Fair Sunday 1st December - The London Christmas Book Fair The books you saw in this video are available at: www.tomwayling.co.uk
From selecting what to sell to shipping them to the physical book fair seems like an mammoth challenge for many. I have nothing but immense respect for these people like Tom who dedicate themselves to promote classic literary works for the modern English literature readers.
Honestly found your channel today & ive binge watched all your videos lol and sdvice for someone whos never read a book fully before & a good series or book to srat with i love lord of the rings or anything historical based
It might go against what you stand for but your soothing voice would be well suited for audio books for those who need them, sight impaired and neurological disorders. 😊 Maybe even a bedtime story on CBeebies lol might even make a good wee side channel.
Meant to come to the fair but had to get a rail replacement bus (it was a Sunday after all). Arrived at the mainline station via said bus only to be told we needed another rail replacement bus to another mainline station 10 miles away! Do you sell any Bradshaw’s …
Im really confused as to what is considered the 1st edition for The Secret History, there are so many versions, limited editions, first printing, 2nd printing before publication and yellow and grey covers, can you clarify how I would know what the "true" first edition is? thanks. enjoying the videos
I would love to go to something like a book fair just a place with so many book a book lovers on one point, but sadly I do not live in London. I indeed live in Germany which don’t misunderstand me. It’s a beautiful country but it does not have this kind of cultural events nor dare I say any kind of literary modern culture of course we have a great history of literacy, but at the moment there is just hardly anything going on anymore but I would laugh at some point to live in London which I see is the most beautiful city in the world at least part of it in the parts of it are certainly rather terrifying on a sidenote I find it to be such a pity that there are hardly any modern books still being made by hand in this beautiful leather binding with a beautiful paper before and after the actual story starts mature of the name but you might know what I mean. I just find that those kind of books have a completely different flag and modern machine made books as it is for all the handmade things in this world though, as I don’t really like many old storieseven though the books are visually and from the feeling and smell absolutely marvellous I’d love to see this combined more beautifully handmade books created in our fast modern world even though sadly the majority of fine hand works is starting to die out which is a real pity

I know what you mean. I'm planning a visit to Oxford, and really want to visit the new physical store.😊
Absolutely love the Austen and Dickens sets, especially the Austen. Would have wanted those myself.
I just started watching your content. I love your work. Cheers from Minnesota.
This is The first time I saw Tom's library in full view I always thought his library looked like a Victorian era house
👍on your new facility! And there’s plenty of room for more books! Very nice!
Book fairs are a major amount of work for the dealers!! Thanks for sharing.

Aren't they beautiful?!
But where was the fair?!!! Although it’s over. Love books and your videos make me want to collect them, but now’s not the time, alas.
Do any of your videos describe how you rose to the upper echelon of book selling?
