    The reason cities with fewer immigrants have more serious crime (among larger cities, this pattern doesn't actually hold well for many smaller cities) is that criminals tend to be part of the same broad social class as the working poor. Working poor and laboring class non immigrants tend to avoid or leave cities with large immigrant populations, unless they are themselves from an immigrant background.

    Miami, FL should definitely be on this list. There are HUGE racial tensions between blacks and latinos in that city. Jose, if you actually interviewed native born blacks in Miami today they will tell you bluntly they will never set foot in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood and vice versa. It's segregated af there because no one likes one another. If it's not then it's an injustice to TH-cam viewers.

Spent 25 years down there (sadly) and the majority NOT ALL of the Cuban American community particularly despises, hates and they will do everything available to them to keep black people down. I was among many people who believed Birmingham was the most racially segregated and Atlanta was the least racially segregated of Southern cities. That was before I came across data which revealed that the dissimilarity index in the city of Birmingham had never been higher than that in the city of Atlanta at any point during the 20th century.

    In 1990, there were four neighboring counties (Cherokee, Dawson, Forsyth, Pickens) of northern Metro Atlanta, which were together inhabited by 154,000 white residents and only 1,900 black residents, yet nobody in the Atlanta area seemed to have the faintest clue that they formed what was likely the only multi-county "Sundown Region" of the Deep South at the time. Ssshh...it wasn't until that 1987 march in which the racial hostility of one those counties (Forsyth) was on full display, and if not for that, it would've still been somewhat unknown that the county's white residents had "Ethnically Cleansed" it's black residents decades earlier.

    I will say the thing about Memphis, the police not doing anything has to do with the "higher ups" telling them not to do anything with certain crimes ex (carjacking, petty theft, etc). This was told to me by multiple Memphis police officers. Also ALL Memphians are tired of the violence. We have a mayoral election coming up and there are more candidates than there has been in awhile. Hopefully the right one can bring some type of change.

AFRICANS, who traveled to different islands/ continents around the world, and became the indigenous of the LANDS we occupied. All melaninated people, who for the most part are aware that we are all descendants of the same motherland, yet we’ve allowed CLASSIFICATIONS to segregate us to the point where COLONIALISM has INTEGRATED US INTO PUPPETS. We’re so busy blinding ourselves into separating groups via COLONIALISM & FABRICATED HISTORY that we fight amongst eachother to remain ECONOMIC SLAVES to those whom are actually the TRUE MINORITY. If ONLY BROWN SKINNED MELANINATED TRIBAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLE of this earth would only WAKE UP that these same COLONIZERS are USING THE SAME OLD TACTICS TO OPPRESS US ALL, so that we remain in these conditions. Then just maybe we could UNITE/ JOIN TOGETHER AND BECOME SELF SUFFICIENT AWAY FROM OUR ONE TRUE COLONIZING OPPRESSOR! I guess it’s just another DREAM DEFERRED…. Diversity never works except when it's beneficial to all participants which can be in a school or work place, but not a neighborhood unless they just all ignore one another not knowing each other. This is the entire world's weak point. When you bird watch, notice how they only associate with the same feather while ignoring other varieties that look different? In a pond, there may be 6 types of fish, but it's big fish eat little fish. The lions of Africa will eat me only leaving my skull and wallet. This is a very dangerous world running on greed which is why WAR and hate are the main theme. The Democrats nor the Republicans can't fix it for there's not a political solution. Voting doesn't work for our country is corrupted by big money interests same as all other countries. Maybe we will set the world on fire?

    It's amazing. So racist cities are not necessarily White majority cities. Half of the list is Black majority cities. So, what you are saying is Blacks are as good racists as Whites.

    You make good points about large cities. I hope you looked at the statistics for ALL US metro areas of over one million, not just the ones you believe are the most racist. If that's what you did, great, but otherwise this list is only for ranking those specific metro areas you looked into in detail.

      no its not, that would be like saying all rural counties have less population density. its absolutely an elementary observation.. the first thing you learn about politics in USA is that rural and urban areas vote differently. were here to DISCOVER not repeat things we already know

    • @pavila10
      @pavila10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No way Jose, you think it is a coincidence that all these racist cities are ran by Democrats. The politicians are nothing more than a reflection of the city population. In order for those politicians running those cities, the racists majority have to vote for them. Or your report is very bios against the democrats. All of them ran by Democrats. What conclusion can we get out of it. Don’t try to hide what is very obvious.

    The funny thing about Miami is that there’s a lot of racial undertones even amongst us Latinos!!
    A lot of people wouldn’t believe it. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen where one Latino group looks at another group as being inferior. Why would we all have had fled from our countries back in Latin America if one country was superior???
    This isn’t the case with all Latinos here in Miami, but it does exist. I grew up in Hialeah, and I’ve been all over. Tensions between other West Indies groups exists too.
    There normally isn’t violence or hate crimes, but the bigotry and ideologies definitely do exist. It’s not just white vs black or Hispanic vs white/black.
    There does exist discrimination amongst ourselves.

    You will find racism if any is far less in rural area's. Racism is alive and well in all large cities no matter where you go. You need to do some real fact checking because where ever you got your info is wrong big time.
