First thing I always do is load test the batteries. A lot of the newer vehicles will not charge the battery if the computer senses it is not at least 90% charged. You can cheat it into charging with a boost charger if you get the battery voltage high enough the alternator will take over and finish charging the battery. But I always clean terminals and grounds.
