  • Captain Mark Misek is walking around Wichita Fire Department’s Velocity Walk-In Heavy Duty Rescue. The custom compartments throughout the apparatus allow for a large variety of equipment to be stored for different deployments. I would love to see this guy give a rundown on all of their apparatus in Wichita, just like South Metro does in the Denver metro area. He explains stuff so well.

      Conner Blinzler we actually have quite an amazing fleet of fantastic Apparatus especially for a city like this considering we have a lot of grain elevators and airplane factories and even a few rivers take a peek at our webpage or I can send you some pics😎🚒

      he’s A great fire fighter, he’s trained and taught many firefighters a lot of tips and tricks and would definitely be cool to watch him do something like SMF does. Absolutely love how this is Compared to what our old rescue looked like but she still got the job done

    Loving the speakers being mounted towards the intersections!

    • @Bellman84
      @Bellman84 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why is that? All the data I have seen is the speakers should be mounted as close as possible facing forward for the highest decibels.

      @@Bellman84 It allows for more sound to be heard in the intersections and have it pointed towards vehicles on the sides.

      David Belleperche the configuration you described is best for forward facing sound, as you can see this rig has a classic fedsig q upfront for the main siren, with intersection-facing speakers for auxiliary coverage. Nice setup imho

    What a fantastic walk around. Mark Misek sounds like he knows his stuff, and was very good in front of the camera. Perfectly articulate, went into detail, showed important points, seemed like a nice guy. Well done on this video, and fantastic looking truck!
