Mudiyettu is a traditional ritual theatre and folk dance drama from Kerala that enacts the mythological tale of a battle between the goddess Kali and the demon Darika. The ritual is a part of the bhagavathi or bhadrakali cult. The dance is performed in bhadrakali temples, the temples of the Mother Goddess, between February and May after the harvesting season.
The 3 Dance Forms which got included in UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010 are: MUDIYETTU of KERALA, CHHAU of EAST INDIA and KALBELIA of RAJASTHAN

FYI: "Bathukamma" is another such Folk song/dance ritual of Telangana celebrated during Navrathri.
"Bathukamma" is famous. Even Telangana CM distributed lakhs of Sarees among women on occasion of Bathukamma.
