- The video contains a documentation of Bus Depot in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Kempegowda Bus Station, more commonly known as Majestic Bus Station, is a large bus station in central Bangalore, India. It is located opposite the Bangalore City Railway Station. It is bordered by Seshadri Road to the north, Danavanthri Road to the east, Tank Bund Road to the south and Gubbi Thotadappa Road to the west. Dharmambudhi Lake was changed to make this bus station.
This bus station provides connectivity to almost all the areas of Bangalore. One side of the bus station is used for intra-city buses by the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) while the other side is used by out-station buses operated by various state road transport corporations.
Former chief minister of Karnataka R. Gundu Rao is credited with building the station. The bus station not only eased congestion with buses and helped streamline the transport system but also helped the local area grow economically and was a major landmark of the city for many years.

The Double decker bus was between Majestic and Doopanahalli ( 100feet road, Indiranagar). We as young kids used to scramble into that bus to get to the upper deck. :) . We can also see a couple of "Pushpak" buses.. Wow...Great memories.. Great video clip.
I can feel u bruh, l too lived those moments!!
Those red buses gave the city a distinct feel.
Wow it first time I'm seeing buses going in opposite directions in the same platforms in BMTC(then BTS) KBS.
At that time Bengaluru is a garden City very beautiful city old is gold
It's really great for saving this beautiful old video till today... and in those days the traveling in the old red buses were giving more happiness ...that we can't get the same feel though we travel in luxury buses today

This video of Majestic bus terminus has just polished my wonderful memories of Bangalore..I walked over that over bridge and waited in the terminus unlimited times(1993-96).. I thought it was unique to have that curvy terminus those times.. I`m from Kerala and I studied in Bangalore 1993-96 and after studies I got my very first job on Magrath Road.. I was pretty much there until early 2001, then I moved to overseas countries.. During my times in Bangalore; I used to roam around every corners of Bangalore city on my Yamaha RX 100 and Maruty 800 and also neighbouring places like, Tumkur, Mysore, Kolar, Hosur, Nandi Hills etc etc.. It is from Bangalore city railway station I first travelled to Bombay and back. Been to my home town in Kerala from Bangalore and back on bike as well as car many times.. both via TN and also via Mysore. I could definitely go on and on for hours, days even months... that much I adore Bangalore.. My last visit to Bangalore was in January 2009 when I flew from London with the defunct Kingfisher airlines.. and then return. Although I had just five hours transit; I managed to catch a taxi to visit Infant Jesus church in Vivek Nagar which was one of my regular visiting churches before..
I can`t wait to explore Bangalore again.. Thanks a lot for positing this video..!!
Wov.. nice sweet memories
The best sweet memories

Wow how nice to see Bangalore like this again
Lovely Lovely Lovely video
Good
One thing I noticed..people hardly used to wear t shirt jeans
True, Infact branded jeans were costlier than regular stitched formal trousers.
Have we become less organized? Less tidy? Overpopulated?
No North indians. No malayalis.. No tamilians.. Wow my Bangalore
Isn't Bangalore only 37 kilometers away from Tamil Nadu border? How come there were no Tamilians in 1994?
@@ddawg3230bengaluru border of Tamil Nadu speak kannada not Tamil..
@@KrystalSurts you think border has some wall kya? You think humans will speak exact same language till you cross border and suddenly everyone speaks different language 😆 ?
Tamils were bought as labour ( mostly) when British made Bendakaluru ( after seizing Bangalore fort, built by Kempe Gowda, from Tippi Sultan) to Bangalore, originally a place where British kept their forces.
( Arilliery, Cavalry, Infrantry, Military etc)
Then they added Administration , then they made it Winter holiday destination, then they started settling.
During this process, Bangalore became Military camp to Administrative capital for British to becoming Karnataka capital.

Double Bus
Engyom eppodum
ಓಲ್ಡ್ ಇಸ್ ಗೋಲ್ಡ್
Same as always 😂😂 just the buses have changed
Nope less crowded than now and pollution, corruption etc many things changed
Hi would you be open to licensing this footage for an upcoming production?
All buses were of ms body any damage it was welded and painted
Which was looking good and vastu
No 1 and 14 was known for their
Speed and dosa cut at vidhanasudha
Now aluminium bodies rattle any damage they are nailed with buttons
And looks like buses in the 70s
Ask transport minister to stop
Introducing aluminium body buses
And go for ms body buses
But bus catching style still d same😅
Hi, I have written an email on abhijit's email id regarding purchasing the footage. Could you please check and revert to us discussing the possibility of licensing this footage?

It's in 2010 not 1994
It's 1994 only not 2010 those old buses with black front grille and front glass with two divided part were plying till 2005
2010 there was no red bus in city
I came to Bangalore in 2010. It was not at all like that. Infact 2010 much similar as of now. Plus for Volvo buses totally seperate platforms were there.
Ohhh😊
😊 m g road video please..... Now it's ruined by the metro
