Astro Marines are technically.... Space marines.... This is by far my second most favorite toyline next to ExoSquad. On a side note I am trying to learn how to make these figures and the vehicles. The IP as far as I can tell is just dead. Someone out their owns it but not sure who and probably wouldn't care if we started making toys. I wanted to mass produce a Drone that looks like the color scheme from the cartoon and maybe custom vehicles. They are not huge and probably wouldn't have the cool mechanisms like the original. Now if anyone knows how those were made, I am all ears.

My all time favorite toy line ..
It was great thanks to the smaller scale they were cheap figures were $1.95 most vehicles under 10.
They were closely affiliated with NASA. And sadly that was also the down side since it came out very close to the space shuttle challenger disaster and people were turned off to anything space for a while after that
Also come do wad in its last days and would soon sell to mattel.
To me it's really sad Mattel never did anything with the brand.

9:37 NOOOOOO! Not the chicken!!! (You can also stream the episodes on Tubi for free).
StarCom was an incredible toyline that still holds up! They did so much without needing batteries, and were a cornerstone of many a great childhood adventure. If they remade them in 18th scale I would so be there for it!

Thank you for doing this video series! So helpful and so informative. I got a starcom self transforming vehicle, from a flea market back in the 90s and I was obsessed with it but I didn't know what it was till now. Now I definitely want to revisit the line. They don't make toys like this anymore and if they did it would cost a premium price
