Thailand now is under military regime sine the last coup in 2014 ( 2nd coup since 2006 ) . We Thai ppl is suppressed by the regime. Freedom of speech is gone our voice is not count. While the claim politicial all are corrupt but these general get richer. There are so many cases the regime is not different from bad politician the claimed but more worse.
These raptor just express what most Thai have criticized or demanded the regime but instead of do it right they summon or threaten anyone dare to question or criticize. These raptor is our young fearless hero using this song to spread truth and evil act of the regime.
Now we are about to have election in Feb 2019 I hope the regime keep its promise and we can mobilize our beloved country from autocracy to democracy.

In a big picture, Thailand is beautiful and most of her people are kind... The problem is that of struggling to control/hold on to the power at the top by the far-right groups (backed by the Army and rich/elite few) threatened by the new immerging democracy groups. Basically, the political situation in Thailand has been very unstable for over 85+ years. On many occasions, people were accused, jailed, and killed by the dictatorship governments( they got to be in the power by the coup d'etat, including the current government 4+ years ago). As you see in the clip, the beaten hangman is based on the true story of Thammasat University Massacre in 1976, please search in google) However, with the craziness in Thai politic, the weird thing is that tourism in Thailand only has little impact. So most visitors are not aware of this situation.
