    Considering this is a live stream hats off for you . No hiccups whatsoever, no ah, eh, or oh’s, nothing. You are such a natural presenter and you have a very expressive face and bubbly personality. It’s just so much fun to watch you present.

    Thank you for the great vdo. How do you add multiple animations? Make them separate or all in different ppt slides and export them. Thanks and regards.

      You can choose which slides you want to export, so you can export multiple files from one powerpoint presentation.

    indeed nice presentation and teaching. I am unable to get a clear video output from OBS, to use in Filmora. Tried various settings in OBS video output settings. Can you guide please?

      I can't speak to that since I have never used Filmora, and I only use OBS for the virtual camera.

    not sure if this has been noted already, but..
    because i am using windows ppt on a desktop computer, i had to rewind and play your excellent video several times because every time i played the animation it kept just playing the exit animation; DOH...!
    the 'ah ha...!' moment came when i realized i did not hear you mention, nor did i see the 'add animation' command in windows ppt you have to click ADD ANIMATION after you do the first ENTRY animations, then you complete the EXIT animations... once i did that the animation played (from the beginning) as it should; in then out...
    thanks again for putting in the time to create this video so dummies like me can learn new skills when it comes to things like this... appreciate it...!🙋‍♂👍

    • @CatMulvihill

      I use Keynote and the Magic Move feature for the full screen animation. Since PPT still doesn't appear to allow exporting with a transparent background, it's not easy to replicate with PPT.
      If you have a Mac, then you can follow the instructions I share in the Magic Move video: th-cam.com/video/mhL3V12ypxM/w-d-xo.html (you can use the chapters to jump to the full screen animation).

    WHen sharing PPT in Zoom or Teams, the slides and even websites are very blurry and almost unreadable. Is there a way to resolve this?

    To avoid the green screen issue and the overhead of the chroma key processing, you can change the size of your page in PowerPoint so it is only as big as the components. That way, the exported video has no background.

    Thanks for this very cool video! I'm looking to start a TH-cam channel, I just downloaded OBS and I'm very familiar with PPT and Publisher. I was thinking of trying to use Publisher to make some borders and lower thirds and for making PNG's because you can set transparent colors in pics in Publisher. I was looking at videos where they use Singular Live for making live dynamic graphics for lower thirds and that's like $100 a month takes a few weeks of training to learn the navigation of that system. Showing people how to navigate the process in both Mac and Windows was very cool, thank you!

    Hi Mrs. Mulvihill, your work is closer to my expectations. actually, you used a background behind the text so it works fine. I am trying to type text directly on my slide for teaching purposes and during live, I want to make the ppt background transparent so me and my text box look simultaneously with all my slides. But by writing only text green screen doesn't work well. checkout and let me know if you get with some other options.

    This is great, but you can also do this in OBS itself!

  • @sturm7260
    @sturm7260 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    For those of you who are running OBS on an older computer with Zoom and have problems loading everything correctly. The best way to fix this is by going on OBS and right clicking the preview screen and deselecting live preview. This will help a lot more with loading your scenes on Zoom and not put as much strain on your computer.
