These is very informative. Little correction, it is bad to cut at 45 degrees to drain out the plant sap..In fact the plant sap if dry on cut makes a protective layer. More over 45 degrees expose to keep larger area of open wound.

I bought a Bowen mango which is in a 160 litre pot, plant is approx 4..5 yrs old. I need to plant it in a hole, how big the hole must be and what type of prunning shall I do?
Plant height is approx 6 feet high and 5 feet wide.
