ok so. In the books Chani doesnt just fall in love with paul at first sight. They both take spice and see their futre in which they see the year of love for each other ahead and basically act like they have been in love for 10 years after that. Its anime as shit but it is more than just love at first sight.
in the book paul already has a "wife" he inherits Jamis's wife and kids when he kills him, so more than one wife is part of her culture. Political marriage was a big part of our own history kings and queens rarely married for love. hell that hasn't really ended my current King was faced with the choice of the crown or the woman he loved he chose the crown then cheated on his wife Diana. Personally i have more time for his uncle who when faced with the same choice as King abdicated the throne
Marrying for love is a reality of our time, inspired by 19th century romanticism and 20th century Disney. Society wasn't like that in the distant past, and Herbert depicts a distant future that is quite the same.
honestly you saying its better because chani is on board with the marrige in the book makes me think you skimed it or got notes. She's not an idiot in the book, she understands that its a political marrige and she's smart enough to understand and that Paul doesnt want to. Although I think certain changes to Chani were needed, and she is the way the audince knows that Paul isnt the hero, I personally think they made Chani kinda dumb in order to do that. Also, why has she read Dune by Frank Herbert? Why does she know about secret Bene Gererit plans? how tf does she know that "her people wrote that"? I give it a 9/10.

She was accepted as his servant, not wife.

It's not worm piss. It's the bile from a dying baby sandworm. It's worm vomit.
Great reaction, I especially like your facial expressions!
Rabban is a bad boss. Stilgar is my favorite.

What a horrible reaction. I wish I had never clicked this video. All of you are yapping too much, especially the blue guy. No thanks.
