- A bonus episode to the old WarioWare games vs WarioWare Gold Microgame comparison videos.
This one I cover nearly every single Microgame that is considered in my opinion brand new (MatthewSeldon025 did point out that I did forget Cover Up, an egg rolling Microgame)
The latter part of the video covers games that look new but are actually not. A good example is how Super Mario Kart plays very identical to F-Zero
Make a Wish and Dr.Mario are debatable ones because the former is blow to clear the task with a minor penalty difference for not blowing (DS's Spindy Day pinwheel stops/at 0% speed, whereas Make a Wish pauses the progression).
Dr.Mario used the same game mode but players are restricted to 1 out of the 2 control options. GBA Inc is moving a Megavitamin whereas Gold is restricted to rotating a Megavitamin
Both Grape Aim (Gold) and Silent but Deadly (DS Touched) are in the identical group because they share the same input which is to blow into the mic to fire a shot.
In a nutshell, when you exclude 16 boss stages there are 250 old Microgames and 50 brand new Microgames.

Charles Martinet probably had a lot of fun voicing this one, he actually got to do full sentences.
Almost every time Wario says full sentences when he gets voice acting in WarioWare.

All of the forgotten game references hit like a fucking train. It's so crazy they had to remake entire engines like DS Zelda and Wario Land 3, just for a 3 second mini game. Wow, what a creative team that works on this series

14:46 That's new to Warioware, but not completely new. It's a minigame pulled straight from Rhythm Tengoku on the GBA, probably why in this they named it Rhythm Tweezers. It's a lot slower here than it is in Tengoku though.
This is strictly for WarioWare. If we used other series to dictate whether it was new, no Nintendo microgames would be on here.
Which is fair, it just struck me since it's an outright copy, just slowed down. The music is the same and everything.

Eh, I still find Sneaky Snatcher closer to Game and Wario's FRUIT than DIY's Face Finder, considering Sneaky Snatcher uses the exact same music and character designs as FRUIT does, and that you have to find the thief via clues like in FRUIT, not a clear picture like in Face Finder. Not to mention Face Finder doesn't involve stealing.
Fruit is a game mode from Game & Wario. Sneaky Snatcher is based on Fruit with a bit of D.N.A from D.I.Y's Face Finder.

Is it me or does Gold have a lot of long timer games? Even some of the games that used to be short are now longer. Kind of makes it a bit too easy.
Even thought it’s a year later
I’m pretty sure what makes up for that, is where the micro games are (as in characters/groups) and the fact that the speed ups feel kind of faster than some other games.
Also some micro games have harder version for 2 and 3 than the originals
