Appreciate people who put BB content out there. I have a gladiator start playthrough going on TH-cam right now, but I've never seen the northern raiders start. Fun to see, might have to try a run and I'll probably use a lot of these tips!
That first fight where your eager new monk, thanking his lucky stars that the raiders spared him to be their guide, is a little inexperienced when it comes to battle and drew the eyes of a powerful undead... with the High Ground. Killed so early in his monkly career, then killed again by the very raiders that spared his life originally. Poetic.
These are some things I missed an explanation on. ..When in doubt wait turn, you can check wait turn by looking at your UI bottom right. The circle arrow looking button is greyed out if you have already waited turn which means you need to act now or lose your turn. Adrenaline requires use of wait turn to prevent barbarian thralls from using adrenaline and it allows you better opportunity of attack (you can decide to back off for a better position or to nuke and engage with adrenaline). Wait turn also allows you better chance to hit the enemy when you start surrounding them too! Thralls will generally use adrenaline if they are slower in the turn order (if you have leveled initiaitive on your brother to a high level for example). When pushing into surround situations rip the shield out and consider using adrenaline to move in and shieldwall to lock down opponents. Try to avoid moving into surround positions where possible, every surrounding bro adds 5% chance to hit you, zombies with backstabber add 10% to hit. When you wait turn your initiative drops by 25%, when fighting zombies make sure you end turn after your attacks to keep a higher initiative level and to go first, this will allow you to throw your spearwall up before the zombies move next turn in light armor. If you have just spearwalled/shieldwalled you will want to wait turn to keep your spearwall up for longer. Defensive = wait turn, offensive = end turn.
Hey dude, could you do another one of these (not the whole thing but maybe for a seed) because of the new Blazing Desert DLC. Itd be super cool if you also did some of these but with the 3 new Origins for the South.
Cheers! I have not been looking to hard for seeds for northern raiders. My focus this expansion has been on finding good port links as the map has increased in size. Ports in a south city are especially valuable IMO. Ill be keeping an eye out for a good raider seed though!
@@Wildbison cheers Mate! I found a pretty good map seed, with ports linking the north-west, south & mid-west. Plenty of hunters cabins, barracks, blast furnaces. Haven't gone too far into the campaign yet, so dont know about terrain for the monolith etc.. Trump2020 with a capital T is the seed. Hahaha, all laughs aside, it seems to be a pretty good seed.
Don't know if if you play this way but what is the highest level that a indebted you have seen? The 4 level for me they seem like the number 1 target for the AI dps
I may have missed the squires potential, he would definitely be good enough for a crossbowmen with gifted for an expectation of 84 Ratk without stars (if he had a star I definitely missed out). I like to aim for 85+ Ratk.
Absolutely love the in-depth look into how you play, thank you for this Bison
I usually would not watch anything this long, but I was invested! Very good series and well played

Appreciate the effort m8. Learned a lot from this! You got yourself a sub.

Thanks for the guide man. Informative and funny, the best combo.
An absolute legend!
Great content cheers man
Cool video, very informative. Thanks!
Just got the game two weeks in
I am fairly new to the game and haven't faced Geists yet. Looking at the graphic, I thought he was pronouncing "Ghost" with a heavy accent haha
The voice cracks bro xD
Geat video mate, have you found any good barbarian seeds with the new DLC?

You seem so pro at this game. How many hours do you have?
the squire you got with 50 ranged attack and a star wasnt good enough to be an archer?

@@Wildbison Fair enough, I was curious where your cutoff for archers is.
