    Gday Warro. Good to see you got the 22 (Aug21) model.
    Your earlier vids on the yellow/green 21 inspired me to get mine. Still have it. Best bush bike ive ever owned. Goes pretty much anywhere (easily) compared to my heavy old pigs of DRZ400 and XT600. Downsizing was the best move i ever made. Thanks for that Warro. Your rough ride thru the single trail inspired me. Only things ide change on this bike is a 6th gear to more easily sit on 100kph on the hwy (it will do 100, but its really pushing it to get over 90). Ive found 80kph is its sweet spot on bitumen going to and from trails. But in the trails 80 is heaps enough. The other thing ide change is the front forks. Me being 86kg and 180cm when i hit a deeper pothole, or bigger rock, or come off a jump too strong it bottoms out. But everything else on the little galloway is great. After i get it resprung stronger, i will look at opening up the airbox, rejetting it, and opening the exhaust a bit ...its too quiet (for my likes), and with the right exhaust they have a great note on these little 144cc bikes. Still lovin it. Think its 116kg from memory? And around 300mm clearance. Thing turns on a 5cent peice. Cant wait to see some of your trail vids on this one Warro. Enjoy man 👍

      great to hear you are enjoying the klx150 experience. yeah once over that 80 kph mark it does get a bit vibey too. overall a good value go anywhere bike.

    The KLX 230 comes in at $600-700 more, 150 is hard to get the dealer didn’t normally stock it and you had to pay upfront. The KLX230 just fits in the van 🚐 and I got the rack

      plus for the extra money you do get fuel injection plus abs braking which is a big plus.

      @@aaatmusic Ex Demo I would say, with 3-5,000 KM and a few scuff marks. They don't stock the 150 here either, to hard to shift. the KLX 230 are the poor person's 2nd bike deal of the month considering the Honda CRF 300L & Rally take No 1. Now they say the Suzuki DRZ4S & SM will come in 2025 at some point so thats going to upset Honda and BMW will drop the 450 GS (but that will be super expensive I feel) The CF Moto is out selling most stuff but as they only have the one dealer here in the next state I'm not going to bother. I'm sure If I turned up with $5,300 AUD Cash I could walk away with an ex demo, much prefer to wait for the DRZ

      it's pretty good so far. plus it appears that it is tuned leaner than the other one as ive heard it backfire a few times on throttle off at 80 kph.

      it now classed as a solo rider bike and i think thats how it got passed for 2022.
      everything new and sold here must have duel channel abs but the suzuki drz400e got through too
      its like this carby and normal disc brakes.

      klx appears pretty good to me -especially for the price. runs an easy 80 kph and handles dirt roads and potholes on dirt pretty good.
      if fact i could virtually just ride over them...on the dirt.
      i have a few wild rides planned for it and its very easy to move around or about on too.

      @ridewithwarro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i thinkits pretty good too plus will be a lot better to go into rougher style dirt roads. it runs well or it did today at 80 kph and when i had it on the dirt it actually rode the bumps extremely well.
      brakes were shocking at start up but now with 43 klm on the clock are starting to bed in.
      nice colour green too compared to the yellowy version i had last year.
      i think i like the green and graphics better.
      must have a weaker euro 5 tune too as i notice it back fired a few times on throttle off in top at 80 kph.
      contacted the dealer and he just said -ride it...lol

  • @Free_Ranger_CT110

    Great little bike Warro, will definately take you on some adventures, much more bike for your dollar than the CT125. My metho stove is a trangia which I swear by. Not cheap, but versatile.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      trangia is good as i still have my set up from when i took my ex mazda mx5 turbo to the northern territory open speed limit in 016 and 017.
      ran it up to 235 kph too over the 500 klm open speed limit run. top speed was estimated at 265 kph but i had issues keeping it planted on the road.
      some might read this and say bullcrap but then again i slapped $12000 into the motor to do the trip and that little monster put out 350 hp...lol or roughly tripple stock figures.
      plus did a video of the trip too...lol
      back to the bike. yeah i think it will be interesting to run the back roads on. it handled the rough dirt road and potholes today extremely well. ran fine at 80 kph too.
      bit wobbly on the new tyres to start with but improved by the time i got back with 43 klm.
      will be good to get into rougher country with the drone. will see how that idea goes and saves me taking the enfields and keep them on the better roads.
      only trouble there are no better roads...lol

    Hey Warro, What happened to the xmax and xmax videos? They seem to be gone.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i pulled them because there was little interest in them but that will change now. i now plan to use it for some long run clips and add a roadside cook in the clips too.
      i'd say the xmax will come out in a day or so as it is really a great bike to ride. knovked over 800 klm on it so far.
      very good scoot the xmax and pretty happy with it.
      i'll be doing a 1000 klm review on it shortly.

    • @blade1535
      @blade1535 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ridewithwarro I think most your current fans maybe aren't very interested but over time you might get more people from Thailand, Vietnam, India etc finding their way to your channel for that bike.
      I just did over a thousand Kms last week on mine. Went to Bathurst, Orange, Parkes, Dubbo, Mudgee then back to Sydney.
      Went really well!
      Next trip I'll take my Tenere for a long run to compare the feeling etc.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blade1535 yeah i dont care where they come from to look as long as i get a few interested in watching them to make the effort to do the clips worthwhile.
      so will see how that idea goes by using all bikes for ride coffee cook series.
      that was a good run you had too.
      i had thoughts of putting a slider performance kit in the xmax but i just might leave it stock and avoid any issues.
      it runs so easy at 100 kph and you probably saw lots of potholes on the roads out this way so more speed is really not required its more safety.
      all the best!

    Still riding my Honda CT 125 around Northern Thailand. It's a lot better bike now that I've pepped up the engine on it. Plans are to get another one and make it into a much better off road bike. Like the KX, it looks really good setting in the country side..... Put some more K's on it and let us know what you think....... Stay in touch, I'll do the same.......

      good to hear from you again. a guy told me he saw a proto type 150cc in the ct range in thailand. do you think its right or could it have been a 125 with 150 stickers.
      if a 150 ever hits here i will have to try it out for sure.
      good to know your still on them and adding power mods too. plus you can get the mods at the right price. i think that stops many of them.
      they like the idea but the pockets can't handle the expense and when you buy from thailand and add excessive postage and import duty-it does get out of hand pretty quick.
      a bargain buy soon appears not as good as it first looked
      all the best and i might swing by the channel
