And we Liberians are very grateful to the Artists for their support of Liberia. Don't make it seem like they felt sorry for US Liberian. We were doing just fine and we still are. And all the girls in the Video are Liberians ; Even the male dancer. Only the guys singing are Ghanaian.
Lots of Ghanaian men left their wives and girlfriends for Liberian women who were living in Ghana during Liberia civil war. Some of these Ghanaian men are now living with their Liberian wives in America. Same applies to many West African men who married Liberian women in order to travel to America and other places on Liberian refugee status during Liberia civil war with their children & spouses. This song is a restatement to how Ghanaian men admire Liberian women because many Liberian women lived in Ghana during the Liberian civil war.
Hmmm never heard of Liberia until today. They might not be many in the US. Where can i find their community in the US. I know Ghanaians are in the BRONX. A very nice song if you ask me.
