    COMMENT glad you did this video . I like how he mentions other training site outside of INE. I have known about GNS3 for awhile. It was nice of him to clarify what GNS3 virtual labs were.

    Great interview. I'm just finishing my master program in theoretical mathematics - numerical analysis (1 year program) and I'm going for masters in data science (2 years). It would be awesome if you could do some interviews with data scientists who have mathematical background.

    22:40 "at least to level of passing exam" -> "2 months later probably fail" Then why was the certification exam even created if act of exam taking inevitably ends in forgetting everything just few days after? How can anyone requiring certifications (or even degrees) give extra value to a person who has taken the test, but it is common knowledge that not much was retained from it by the time any real work needs to be done?

    • @Johhnyp10
      @Johhnyp10 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Forgetting the material isn't the fault of the exam. It's due to testers only committing information to memory for the exam and then never using it again. That is why most certifications require re certifying to make sure you still understand the information.

      It doesn't have anything to do with how the exam works, it has to do with how the human brain works. You are not gonna learn a concept and never forget again, even though you haven't used or reviewed that topic in 3 months from now. If you want to always know something you will need to be reviewing that thing from time to time so you tell your brain it's a information that it can't let go.

    hi eli, thanks for these network interview series, i am currently into core mobile telecom and im looking to moving into ip networks or web dev&digital marketing or cloud&virilization , from ur ine series i got a better idea of netwking as a carrer path so similiar to that i request you to make series of real people into webdev/digitalmarketing and also on cloud/virilization bcoz these ine series of interview show's how netwking as a career path can be and similarly we need web & cloud series of interview to know how that career path could be apart from just tech knowledge we need to hear it from real people in those fields.

    Maybe I should treat myself to a Bacon sandwich every time I lab BGP or something. Gives off great smell as well as taste afterall. I agree though with involving senses, or at least using all of the VAK learning model, regardless of which one works best for you (especially at CCIE). Keith Bogart is so good, absolute brilliant guy. "I am a router, you are a router"
