I wish she would do those higher belts once in a while. She's proven herself very capable of doing them. She has sang a D6 and Eb6/E6 recently in warm up videos. The D6 is on James Corden's show when he introduces her. The E6 is on GMA at the end of the interview when Michael asks her to warmup before the commercial.
She doesn't support much above E5. She should stick below that until she improves her upper range. The A5 in Halo/Walking on Sunshine is very strained. Her F#5s in Faithfully are also not supported properly. I wish she'd brush up on her head voice and lower register as well, hers is very weak. Her lower register is very airy when she's live and barely audible below A3.
chung2F5 A5 was not strained. That note was well suported, if it were as you said, her voice would have cracked. She supports very well too, F#5's on Louder and Tornado were effortless done.
Well i can say that she need to improv her low more her belt from E5 above are strained and she need to developed more her head voice i say even Christina Grimmie was not a broadway singer improv more tecnique in her low notes and upper belts from her comfort Eb3 to her F#5 and a great executed head voice but Lea supported range i say is F3 to Eb5 more than Ariana i can say but need more work on it and casually Ariana supported is from G3/A3 to C5/C#5
