Wooseok. You have this presence that is so unlike any of your members or any musician I’ve ever seen before. My first time coming across Pentagon was when I heard some of your songs for the first time. I didn’t even know what any of you looked like, but your voice alone made me want to keep coming back to it. Your voice is so strong and powerful and completely pierces through every Pentagon track with its uniqueness. You bring every Pentagon song to life with a voice that defines the nature of your music. There are so many layers and different characteristics that make up your voice and its range. It really gives character to your style and compliments the tone of the rest of the members. On one track, you’re rapping effortlessly and emotionally, and on another, you’re stealing the hearts of Universe with your soulful vocals. I can just tell that you have such a desire and connection to singing and rapping because we can feel what you feel through your own voice. It’s even more wondrous that you already have created your own music and are an expert in songwriting. I always think that writing lyrics is a difficult process, but when I really listen to your work it seems as if all that you do is completely pour your heart out in your composition. That’s the beauty of music, and you really know how to make a statement or speak to your audience using your own experiences. You were born to be on stage with a microphone in your hand to create magic, but you are an impressionable dancer all of the same. You really know how to make each second count and you dance with so much energy and enjoyment every time that you hit the stage. Not only do you have such accuracy and precision, but also incorporate a piece of you with every choreography that makes it performance memorable. You always do an unexpected action that stays in the hearts of Universe. I love that your dancing is so diverse and you never fail to try something new. No performance is like the last and you always strive for excellence. To bring happiness and hard work together is a gift and it is so clear that being an idol is your calling. You seem so comfortable on the stage overall and always give Universe all that you have to give. I’ve never seen a person be able to spark laughter in another the way that you can. You have so much spontaneity and a burst of energy that never seems to go out. I noticed almost instantly that when your members seem to be restless, you are active for them and bring their energy back up to match yours. You really have an affinity for laughter and the way that you light up the lives of all around you is truly wonderful. Although you are the youngest member, you are one of the wisest. You speak so beneficially for your members and I can tell that you inspire them with the words that you say. You give advice that you can’t get anywhere else, and you remind me of a warm hug that you never breakaway from. I love watching your members grow and laugh just by having you around. It’s captivating how you don’t have to do or say much but the way that they learn from you and look up to you is so heartwarming.You don’t have to try but you are naturally a giving and generous person and your members reflect all of this about you. I believe that you are one of the greatest people to have as a role model and to learn from. The way you carry yourself is just so admirable and I think that almost anyone can learn from the mentality that you have. I am beyond grateful for the way that you present yourself and make yourself available for your members to lean on. You are one of the reasons they are who they are today. I want to personally thank your parents and family for raising you and helping you become who you are. You have influenced so many people in a positive way, but I know that they influenced you and we wouldn’t have you without them. Universe know that they mean a lot to you and we keep them in our hearts as you do. I know that they love you in a very special way. Wooseok, I have to thank you as well for all that you are and represent for Pentagon. When I first became a Universe, I realized that the fans speak about you so frequently and respectfully and now I know why. You are so sweet and humble about your profession and just every day life. You are respectful and open to everybody that you interact with, even if just for a second. I love how honest you are to us and we never have to guess how you’re feeling. You’re transparent even if it means you have to show that you’re emotional or upset. I know that it can’t always be easy being vulnerable like that, but you seem to never hesitate when it comes to us. You always want to work so hard for us but I know that Universe could never ask for more than the honestly and heart that you trust us with now. That’s all that we can ask for. I know that Universe’s are some of the luckiest fans in the world because we have you to make us laugh, encourage us to work harder, and to show that we don’t have to be afraid of what we’re feeling. You’re inspiring a whole generation of people to be honest with themselves and honest to others just as you are. I love that you have come into the lives of so many people and the number of Universe will only keep climbing because you welcome us all with open arms. I really thank you for being yourself and putting your faith in us because I can promise you that you will never regret it. We only want to give you back all of the love that you give us every single day. Because you work hard for us, we only want to do the same for you and we want to ensure that you can rely on us for anything that you need. I know that you have gone through a lot both professionally and personally. Hongseok. I want to first talk about your musicality, more specifically your voice. You have one of the sweetest voices I’ve ever heard. There is a softness and a subtlety to your voice that gives it so much character and definition. You are an incredibly passionate singer as well. I can see it in your eyes and on your face that you are giving life to every word that you are singing. You can only go so far with training your voice and focusing on technique, but you really lose yourself to your voice when you sing. You are a stylistic genius, and have the ability to bring so much vibrancy to each of your lines. When you sing, you look so vulnerable, and the delicacy of your voice allows for you to communicate how you feel with your audience. It is clear you have a natural voice that was meant to touch hearts everywhere. As well as being an awe-inspiring singer, you are a talented and free dancer. You master each Pentagon choreography flawlessly. Your movements are loose, yet concrete, and it allows so much of your own personal expression to be infused with your movement. You effortlessly connect your mind to your body, and whatever concept you present is reflected in the way that you move. You make each performance unforgettable by just giving way to the music and letting your body carry you through the song. Your spontaneous and sudden bursts of love shine through when you gift your Universe with the surprises that you leave for us through your dances. You engulf the stage with your power and capture the mood of any genre with your versatility as a dancer. Overall, what you bring cannot be brought by another artist, and you have changed music so much. You have redefined what it means to have stage presence and have charmed the hearts of countless by possessing such newness in your own. You have already contributed so much to Pentagon’s legacy, and the potential music has on the world will continue to expand so long as you continue to explore it. Without you, they might not be as able-bodied as they are now. You have helped them find the love in themselves and have brought them closer together. You are their brother and a family member that they know they can always rely on. They are who they are and where they are today because of you. You help them to recognize their fullest potential every day, and they know that they can go wherever they aspire to because you believe in them. Similarly to with your members, you also help us to look after our health. You eagerly share your tips with your fans, which really lets us know how much you appreciate us. We are learning what rewards come from caring for ourselves, and this can be easy to forget, again, especially because of the pandemic leaving everybody feeling tense. It is very refreshing getting to spend time with somebody who wants his fans to be the healthiest versions of themselves possible. The strength that you have is acquired; something you’ve had to work at to get rather than just naturally having. You have proven that you can tackle whatever life throws at you in the future, and you are teaching us that we can do the same as well. Shinwon. I couldn’t help but watch you when I first started watching Pentagon videos because I thought that you represented every mood perfectly. You are able represent each of your concepts very vividly and thoroughly. Then, I started to take in the diversity of your voice. You can alter your voice to make countless sounds, from different levels of aggression all the way to a level of delicacy. You don’t even have to say much but there is so much expression in your voice when you speak or even say just one word and it changes the entire dynamic of the song. There is a power that you hold musically, and when you sing, you always leave your fans anticipating more. Next, I was drawn into to your captivating dancing abilities. I’ve always had an affinity for your mesmerizing dance abilities, but it wasn’t until I really got to know Pentagon that I realized how stunning and talented you really were.Even when you are just practicing and you might not think anybody is watching, you have some of the most fun but some of the best control I’ve ever seen somebody have. You always balance execution and enjoyment perfectly both on and off stage while making it look so easy. Individually, you stand out as a well-rounded and blended performer, but you also help your group to look in synch and flawless as well. It’s always evident that you worked so hard but you look like your were meant to dance and sing on stage and there is a different side of you that comes out only when you are doing so. I’ve become aware that you can also play piano which for me, personally, is an instrument that I’ve wanted to play for as long as I can remember. When you play, it seems as if you go into a different world in your mind but you bring only the Universe with you to it. You convey every emotion when you play and though I haven’t seen it often, it is always so beautiful and moving for me to witness. Just when I thought I couldn’t be more surprised about your character, I was excited to learn that there was so much more to you that I had yet to discover. One of the first traits I learned that you have is humor. You have a special type of humor and always say what seem to be the most funny lines possible in every situation. It seems that you get happiness making other people laugh and it is one of the most considerate bouts of pleasure that you can provide for another person. You always make your members more comfortable and show them a good time. They always look to you for a good laugh and when the moment calls for it they know that you can bring everybody, including the Universe, together for some of the best times of their lives. When I need some cheering up, which is lately especially because of the pandemic, I can always lean on you and it is all that I can ask for. I know that there are several Universe everywhere that also feel the same, and we cannot thank you enough for completely changing our entire day around just by being yourself. Perhaps one of my favorite parts of you, however, is your intelligence. I believe that the way that you carry yourself is potentially one of the most attractive qualities about you. You are always so mature in every situation, which is in direct contrast to your ability to be so funny. When the time comes for you to serious and professional, you always do so honestly and easily. Even when it may seem like a moment where you could lose yourself, you always hold it together and realize that the best that you can do is just be genuine about how you’re feeling. I’ve noticed you also take this approach with your Universe and members. One of the most desirable traits in somebody is for them to just be transparent and have loyalty to those they love. No matter what has happened to you, even if you might not have wanted to talk about it, you always come to us first and tell us about what’s happening. You are very blunt, which is very admirable in several situations. I know you try not to make us worry about you, and though it’s hard not to because we just want you to be happy, you always try your best and talk to us with completely sincerity about more than we even have to know. Because of this, we have this closeness and trust in you that we have for nobody else. You are very practical and reasonable and that has created one of the most deep and lasting families I’ve ever known to exist. We know that we have you to both laugh, but also to be direct and open with, just as you are to us, and it is one of the greatest feelings in the world knowing that we have that. Some people in their lives never experience that, and even though we may not know you personally, it is just enough knowing that you are there. Similarly, I know that you are a place of calmness and comfort for your members. It’s taken me no time to see that your members gravitate towards you, even if they just need a shoulder to cry on. I remember that only after a year of being a Universe, I became familiar with how selfless you are; which is astonishing. I’ve seen several instances, even just recently, where they’ve gone to you for consonance and you always know how to be there for somebody else. You are even there for people across the world who you’ve never met. You just know how to treat another person and you are one of the greatest friends and family members a person can have. I love that they can talk to you and when they might feel like they have no one else they have you. You have shaped them and made them who they are today and they would not have grown and become as happy as they are without you. It’s beautiful what another human being can be or do for another person, and you have changed so many lives even though you’re just one person. Only somebody so generous and heartfelt can have the effect and power that you’ve had on so many people. I want to personally thank your family and parents for raising you and instilling the proper values of kindness, respect, and honestly. You spread so much of that around, and I know that they had a huge impact on that. I know that they love you and watch you with the most proud of anyone, and they are so thankful for you. I’ve come to quickly know how much they mean to you as well, and I respect your relationship with them as well as them themselves all the same. Shinwon, I know that God brought you into my life for a reason, and even though I didn’t know about you right away, I’m grateful and lucky to have you in my life now. I have learned so much from you in such a short time and there is nobody I’d have rather have to look up to and grow from. With all my heart and soul, and on behalf on the Universe, I want to thank you for everything that you’ve done to inspire so many people around the world. All that you’ve done has impacted and changed somebody’s life in some way. Even if you think that it was insignificant, it has done something positive for somebody somewhere, and I hope that you are always aware of that. Jinho. I want to start with your musicality. I know it is plain to hear that you have one of the most grand voices that have ever sang. You are capable of hitting every and any note that you set your mind to, and of course, there are not many people who can do this. I’ve rarely met people with a range such as yours, while still having so much control of your voice when you hit every note; as well as not stretching it either. It is raspy at times, yet sweet and delicate at other times. You convey these concepts exceptionally well, due to your voice and its ability to sing every feeling of each one. It feels so real when you sing and your Universe can feel every emotion pouring through each line as if we have felt them ourselves. In addition to this, you are also an extremely talented and well-versed dancer. You are so playful when you dance and the fact that you always look like you’re having a blast is so contagious. You have so much energy that carries you through each performance and you execute each move with so much intricacy and detail. You bring every choreography to life with both the accuracy of your movements, and the character that you infuse into each one. Your moves are so fluid and the flow beautifully from one to the next. You have so much to offer musically and there is no other artist who can replicate your vision. It is you specifically who has helped me learn that while there may be barriers in other areas of life, there are none in music and it is really the language that all can speak. Angel Kino. It was very unique and unexpected how I fell in love with each member of Pentagon but I have never felt the way about somebody that I’ve felt about you. I’ve been a K-Pop fan for almost a decade and I’ve come to know so many different people, but I’ve learned so much from you when I least expected to. Your voice completely warms my heart and fills my soul with love and passion. There is so much emotion and feeling behind every single word that you sing. Your voice just glides right into every track and every cover you’ve ever done. What I particularly love about your vocal ability is that rather than singing about a concept or story, your voice becomes the story. The heights and places that your voice take your Universe is limitless and I feel as if I can empathize with everything that you’re going through because of how you express it with your voice. Every note sounds like an urgency to share your heart with us and you do so effortlessly every single time. I know that you work hard and you always want your Universe to believe in your music. You never fail to invite us into your heart and use your voice as a way to prove to us that you trust us wholeheartedly. I know that you’ve been dancing since you were very little, so it is obvious that you are skilled and a professional in this area. I don’t have to say that your dancing has caught the attention of countless people across the world, including myself. Since I’ve gotten the chance to focus only on you, I’ve found that my words have failed me more and more to explain what I’m seeing to the point where I now, just have no words. I am completely speechless. Often, I have to stop what I’m watching and attempt to process what I have just seen though I never really am able to. I know that from experience because you have been completely taking my breath and words away with each performance. I’ve never seen anybody move the way that you can, and I likely never will. You capture and can say so much with just your body alone. You combine your love for your Universe and your calling to dance to light up the stage and communicate with your movements. Just your gaze and facial expressions alone are so impactful when you’re dancing. You are an all-around ace when it comes to performing and it’s clear that you are a natural-born dancer. You were meant to be up on stage touching hearts and taking the breath away of so many people. Not many people end up doing what they want to do as a profession, but it only seems like fate that you’ve become the musician that you are today. The relationship that you have with your members is beyond anything I can understand. I learned very quickly that you have this unbreakable respect for them and that is the most important value to have when interacting with another person in anyway. In just a short matter of time I was able to pick up on how much you love your members and allow yourself to be whatever they need you to be. One of my favorite parts about you is how you never miss an opportunity to encourage them to speak up, make decisions for themselves, or share their talents. You always see the best in them and are their voice when they don’t have one. I can tell that you pay close attention to them when they’re speaking or when there is something they’re determined to achieve. Because of this, there’s never been a doubt that you’ve always strongly cared about them as much as you possibly can. The dynamic between Pentagon therefore is more than just a group, but a family of brothers. You bring the members closer together and are undoubtedly the one of the biggest reasons why all of you have been able to overcome your hardships together. Hui my words are going to sound meaningless up against how I really feel about you so I'm trying my best explain how much I genuinely mean this. I haven't been a Pentagon for very long so I still have so much to learn about the group! However, I've spent enough time to know how much you've changed my perspective on every outlook on life. I've never seen an idol quite like you. First off, I had the luxury of watching a few of your performances from 'Breakers' which was my first time really getting to see you perform by yourself. I didn't realize how beautiful your voice is. You have a range and an ability to sing that I haven't seen in a long time, and on top of that, you are an expert dancer. The most impressive part of all of this is that you have outstanding breath control. You are able to furiously dance while still belting perfect notes and that is not a skill that very many people have. You re born to perform and I can't believe I am so fortunate to be moved by such a unique and even rare performance execution. Next, I want to talk about the emotions that come out when you see. During 'Breakers,' I learned a lot about you just from how you present yourself on stage and I have been absolutely moved by the side of you that you shared on stage. I was moved to tears seeing all of the emotions you've felt in your years as an idol come out on the stage and I was speechless. It's not often that performers have the effect on me, but everything you've felt I could feel simply because you are an outstanding and authentic performer. As I said before, I don't even know that much about Pentagon yet and I can't wait to learn more, but I already feel as if I have an understanding of you because of your incredible performances. You have a voice of gold; within it existing strength, rawness, sincerity, emotion, and power of the rarest kind.
