Oops. I named my cat 🐱Nechama because I thought it meant "comforter" (which she was for my little dog, and for me when my little dog died).
On a different note, this message really spoke to me. I've always felt like my name is not my own. It feels more like a number, not an identity. I actually changed my first name as a teenager when my family made a long-distance move. My last name changed multiple times as my mother remarried, then it changed again when I married. Then when I divorced I went back to my maiden name. However, because I still had my married name when I took out student loans, student loans made me take my married name back. Suffice it to say, I look forward to a God-given name.

I hate the center column notes/references because they are so small you need a magnifying glass to find & read them.
I’d rather have one huge Bible with notes & references I can find & read easily than a compact one that I can’t use easily.
The Hebrew versions I have only use half the original Hebrew names & do not clarify things like you do.

What is the name of salvation? Consider this: The name Jesus has only existed since the 17th century. In the 1611 King James Bible, we do not find Jesus (gee-sus), we find Iesus (ee-sus). Iesus was transformed from Iesous (ee-ay-sous), which is a transliteration of the name Yeshua, a common Aramaic name known at the time of Christ in the 1st century of the Christian era, or common era (c.e.).
