My thing with sides is that she lets the opponents get set up. A high percentage 3 point shot is when the feeder passes the ball down low and the post player kicks it out to the perimeter for the shot.there is also a double screen pick and roll for Lexi and Kelsie. She could have had all shooting guards in after the time out, but that didn’t happen.there in every game, the games are lost late in the fourth by poor clock management n questionable personnel substitutions
she has really worked on her game and that shot. She is 29% come on. I'm surprised she didn't call the play for Smith, I'm sure Smith came up to Sides and said coach I can make that shot, draw it up for me.
Ceo, Sides already said, her scout person Poa creates the game plans against her opponents. She doesn't make real time game time adjustments; she watches film with her staff and then makes adjustments for the teams do on the floor against them. Just listen to Sides talk after games. She is a career assistant, when she speaks makes really sure, never to blame herself, it's always, us and them, she always talks in generalities and never specific, it's all basic CYA all the time. Thats what career folks do, they are always covering their azz, so they never get fired, it's an art, and that's how you stay in the league 20+ years.

You’re funny but you’re right, had one year as an assistant in college working on my post graduate degree, then got my first head coaching job in a small blue collar town. We were getting disrespected by the refs and I lost my mind, got a Tech. Then got a standing ovation from the packed gym. I went from an outsider to one of them that night because they had evidence that I cared. Truth is people don’t care what you know until they know that you care. Side’s did a lot right tonight but she’s going to always take heat because she is too passive, I don’t think she’s passionate, I don’t think you can manufacture that.
The Fever head office needs to fire Sides and Lynn Dunn and let one of the assistant coaches take over.Or just let the players coach their self's. Anything would be better than what those two have been doing
Sides didn't get Fever to 18 wins and to the playoff CLARK did. Clark don't need the Fever or Sides to be great. But Sides AND the Fever damn sure needs Clark to reach 500. Wish Clark would go somewhere else. She has enough endorsement that she could do it.
If you are down a touchdown in last minute of the game you don't take Tom Brady out of the game because the defence is going to put pressure on the qb.
