Mike Lovatt and Whitburn Band in Virtual Concert

Whitburn Band - one of Scotland’s best brass bands - performed in this special virtual concert with trumpet legend Mike Lovatt during the coronavirus pandemic.
The band recorded eight pieces while in lockdown, including two with Mike - a soloist with the BBC Big Band and John Wilson Orchestra.
The event was the centrepiece of Whitburn Band's 150th anniversary year celebrations. The coronavirus pandemic has been very tough for many, so we decided to raise money from the concert for the West Lothian Foodbank. The event raised over £1200 in the end.
