Tech Talk: How to Configure Paging & Intercom on Yeastar S-Series VoIP PBX

Paging & Intercom is a fast and convenient way to realize quick announcements to IP phones and IP-based paging devices including SIP speaker, SIP amplifier, SIP intercom, SIP paging adapter, and SIP paging server.
The configuration on Yeastar S-Series VoIP #PBX, is really easy. Let’s see how to set it up:
Step 1: Add #Paging & #Intercom feature 00:30
Step 2: Choose a Type. 01:02
Three types are available: one-way paging, one-way multicast paging, and a two-way intercom.

Hello, I am using S20 PABX. for paging via a P.A system or amplifier with speakers will I require another device?

Hi Brandon, if all the systems support to connect with SIP, then you don't need extra devices. But if there's an analog device, such as the amplifier you mentioned, then you may need an adapter.

@@YeastarVideo okay great thanks. I will connect S20 to a 2FXS gateway and connect the stores amplifier to the FXS port and test it using a "virtual extension". Hopefully this works, will let you know! thank you.
