Any of you more informed guys know why Zangief grab is so fucking strong? He did a 3 grab in a row towards the end fight and took 75% of Tokido's health.

range of lariat ruins your fireball game, cant use jump in fireball at all(again, lariat), and one spd=tons of damage. its winnable, but extremely difficult. birdies another really hard match for similar reasons, but replace lariat with his anti air headbutt. i feel like birdie is worse because even if you do well and keep a life lead, his damage potential is insane against akuma if you let him pop trigger. basically, 875 health and a bad fireball means grapplers win on the character select screen

also, you cant really teleport out of pressure against grapplers because it isnt throw invincible in this game
