Seeing you and Mom and knowing that you’re all safe is answered prayer. Here in the Winston area, and all over, churches and other groups have been loading trucks with essential supplies and sending them west. We also sending money as well. Many folks don’t understand how isolated some people live in the mountains and many places have one road in. It will take time but we’re with you. Great video…which reminds me that a lot of the quality goods that we have in Restores will be a blessing to folks when they get their homes rebuilt. ❤

Now it’s good to see you again! Absolutely love the furniture right off the bat,the sofa and that chest ( found that absolutely gorgeous!), chair and round end table. Also love the lamp and lampshade, as well as the mid century flowered lamp, with the lampshade that keeps going! I like the dining room table and runner the give away item was setting on! How true about the signs, I do find myself quoting my mom! I remember the retro dining chairs, but they were our kitchen chairs. The seats were so easy to clean, which was my job to clean when I was a little girl. Kelly on a happier note, I know how you want to go to Paris one day, if you want a little pick me up, watch Les Frenchies, who moved to Paris. They tell you about all the best restaurants, bistros, places to visit, etc.

We lost our power for 321/2 hours and low line areas were flooded. After I saw what was going on in worse hit areas I was ashamed for complaining. I’m going up with our Outreach Group Saturday to help with the Baptist Organization. We’ve had many from our church go already and they said you cannot wrap your brain around what you are seeing. I went this afternoon around 2:30. They were locked down. Sign on the door said: Closed Today/ Monday. Another sign said something like...deemed unsafe by authorities. 😢

We lost our power for 321/2 hours and low line areas were flooded. After I saw what was going on in worse hit areas I was ashamed for complaining. I’m going up with our Outreach Group Saturday to help with the Baptist Organization. We’ve had many from our church go already and they said you cannot wrap your brain around what you are seeing.
