Chris Hansen on 'To Catch a Predator', Boondocks, Caught with Mistress, Arrest (Full Interview)

- Veteran journalist Chris Hansen came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, where he spoke about growing up in Chicago and being inspired to be a journalist as a teenager after the murder of Jimmy Hoffa. Hansen went on to speak about working at NBC starting in 1993 and dangerous aspects of the job, and then he spoke about being the host of the highly successful sting show, "To Catch a Predator." He explained how he was scared during the first episode, but things quickly took off, and they were busting all kinds of people, including a former Texas Assistant District Attorney, who committed suicide. Elsewhere in the interview, Chris reacted to "The Booty Warrior" from the Boondocks sending him a message, and he also addressed being let go from NBC and Dateline. I had no idea that Hansen is so hard boiled. At first he seems like a soft preppy but by the end of it he's explaining to Vlad that sometimes in life you might get shot and that's just the way it is.

His "matter of fact" tone and sarcasm is just the best! I love it. His tone and sarcasm on the show in conversations with the predators made for great humor in an otherwise very serious and sad topic. He was PERFECT for hosting that show!
As an English speaking foreigner (New Zealand) Chris Hansen's voice is strangely epic and comforting at the same time, it's cool to see an interview where he is the subject

In his 17+ years of being a great Journalist that has both morals and journalistic integrity, he’s aided in taking a LOT of creeps off the streets and offline. You know, we've seen historically that most personality types don't answers these types of questions very well. I was honestly surprised to hear Chris remain so humble when answering questions that require him to acknowledge some events he's clearly not proud of. My respect for him kinda grew because of that. I already held him in a high regard because of his work against predators. This interview raised that regard even further.

Chris looks great. You cannot say everything he covered is 100% the way it went down but that is fair enough, he has a right to protect the more sensitive matters of his life.
