Thank you again! A fantastic podcast and I learned so much as well. Fruity Knitting remains on the top of my list for knitting and yarn podcasts but there is so much more than that. I recommend your channel to anyone I talk to who is interested in knitting. Cheers!
Just when I thought your videos couldn't get any better ... THIS!!! You two are dazzlingly talented and the way you put your interviewees at ease makes your productions sing. Great stuff and a million thanks. XXXX XXXX 😃🇦🇺🇦🇺😃❤️❤️
So great to have a fun, sometimes irreverent, yet grown-up show. You both are wonderful! And is there anything Madeline can't do? Thank you Angela, for following your knitting curiosity.
I loved this show soooo much! That fashion show was amazing and I want to knitting ALL of it 😅 And all the Westknits shawls was soon lovely and the wedding dress to die for 😍 Beautiful scenery and good laughs! Thank you 🙏
Thank you for the virtual visit to the SYF and for highlighting all the languages - linguistic diversity is so important and we often forget that in Europe I think.
I really enjoyed watching this episode!!! Great festival, and as always you did a great job. Also great yarn choices both of you. I love both colours, but especially this blue one oh it's so gorgeous! Thanks for the great episode, looking forward to the next one 😊🧶
Merci beaucoup pour ce nouvel épisode , très joyeux !. C'est une bonne idée de mettre, à la fin, ces brefs passages que l'on appelle, en français, le bêtisier. C'est très drôle !! Thank you very much for this new episode , very joyful. It is such a good idea to end with the "bêtisier" ( I don't know the english word!). Very funny ! Bis bald !
Pardon me while I mop up my drool! One vendor's merchandise was more exquisite than the next. I had so much fiber envy. I had a roomate back in the 80s who would have worn the Barbie sweater until it had holes😅 Having never been to Europe I found the scenic footage breathtakingly beautiful. You and your daughter make a great team and tge bloopers were a nice ending. Thank you for all the preparation and work you both do to give us excellent viewing.
This is my first time at that channel and I am astonished with the content! I've watched all the video. It was amazing: interesting, fun, highly informative. The interviewing quality that you presented at the festival is a cherry on a top. Not that commonly met today. Thank you! I just have to subscribe :D
This is so much more than a knitting channel. The interviews - every single episode - are thorough and so interesting. Wish you’d had more time beyond providing excellent coverage for us for you to be visitors to the festival. Thanks so much.
Wow I'm very impressed as a native swiss on how good Madeleine sounds in swiss german! That is really impressive! I'm knitting up my "merino- silk wool from "Wollspinnerei Vetsch" which I bought at the swiss yarn festival. I saw you two quickly on friday. :-)
What a joy ride this episode was! My daughter and I loved the music, you and Madeline of course, and all the wonderful things you showed us! You are always so thoughtful and kind but also funny and real. We’ve been following you for years now, so proud and touched by what you do ❤
Best podcast ever! I enjoyed it so much, and now I must figure out how to go to the SYF!. EVERYTHING you showed us was fantastic...I drooled over the yarn and vendors, the interviews were so much fun, and are there even enough words to express the amazing fashion show?! It was so well done. The views, the drive, and you perfected the presentation with the best music. Thank You!! ❤ and now I will quit gushing. 🎉😊😮❤❤❤
I made the Good Granda pa sweater a couple months ago. It was my first sweater from a pattern. Loved the easy to read, and understand pattern. It knitted up so quickly.
The interviews are fantastic! So much good information! I will tell our knitting group to watch this podcast -- and so many previous programs! Your podcasts are better than a printed magazine!
Thank you for such a wonderful episode. You were quite right - you did make us feel as though we were there in Switzerland at the yarn show. The views of the mountains and the huge waterfall were spectacular.
It seemed like a really long wait between videos, but certainly did not disappoint. Definitely need more bloopers! That was hilarious! Meret's wedding gown is gorgeous and absolutely love the Barbie's Bad Day sweater. Your works in progress are gorgeous. I saved a shawl pattern ages ago - I'm not a shawl wearing person however, the pattern is stunning. I hadn't realized until I looked at it again the other day, it's one of Natasha's designs. I can see why Andrea has made a few of them. They are just gorgeous.
This was a super interesting and informative Vlog. You guys do a smashing job. Really loved it. Will be saving for the info on the dyes and how they work with Acid and Akaline. Thanks so much for doing this.
I love your podcast, this was a really great episode! Thank you for taking us to the Swiss festival. The fashion show was very unique, and very elaborate not only with the Wednesday inspired designs and dance but also the shawls. I hope the idea spreads. 😊
FABULOUS! Fruity Knitting really is in a league all its own. I enjoyed this episode so very much, absolutely everything about it. Especially Meret Buetzberger's designs. They are so witty and clever. Now I really want that "Barbie" sweater. Thank you x
Fantastic episode. Loved every minute of it, 3 languages which I could understand and such interesting contents. Thought of Andrew and you as he was with you last time you were there. I still think of him with great fondness and he would be so proud of Madeleine who is really doing great.
I want to travel now after seeing this presentation of travel and fiber yarn festival. Was so feeling of old memory when at 1'3" on vid, was a sweater (traditional bavarian yanka?) like my Grandparents got me when age 5 (we lived in Colo.). Thought didnt like as not colors liked, but Mom made me wear it. Then realized was comfy and nice and warm , so became a favorite. WOnder where it went to. TY
Wonder, wonderful, episode. I love being introduced to all the yarn companies and dyers. And European!! Living in Europe but not being from Europe, I never know where to go to find those unique yarns. Thank you!
Great episode! I especially enjoyed the interview with Maria from Colori Naturali. I could listen to her talk about dyeing processes forever! Really fascinating!
I love this channel!! I truly felt like I was at the festival. I love hearing how the yarn has been dyed, milled, source, and other steps taken to make. I also love the interviews. Great job to you both. There are not enough adjectives in my vocabulary to express the joy from watching. Can't wait until next month.🥰😍🤩
Hello Andrea and Madeleine, what a great Job you did here. Thank you. . I have been there at the Festival for one day. IT was a great experience. All the best to you.
Another wonderful episode from you both. 👏👏👏Thanks for taking us to this fantastic wool festival in such a beautiful part of the world. This festival is definitely going on my wish list. Best wishes from North Wales.
The music at around 35 minutes was so enjoyable, and it made me smile, despite myself not understanding a word of Swedish. I must admit it put me right in mind of the Swedish Chef from the Muppet Show, and yes that's meant as a compliment!
An absolutely terrific episode, as usual! Thanks so much for the glimpse into this festival, especially for those of us who will probably never be able to attend it. Makes me so long for more yarn festivals …
Another wonderful video. The two of you are just naturals. Loved the scenery and information about natural dying. Nice to know how environmentally conscious the venders are and what motivates them to provide beautiful yarns. This worldwide community of fiber artists are so diverse and the best. Thank you!
This was the very best episode! Beautiful footage and such fun music to accompany our journey in Switzerland. Love love the Badma yarn and the "punk" sweater and wished I had the pandemic sweater at the time!
Switzerland is my home country! I was born and have grown up there. But living in Sydney the last 40 years . Did not know Switzerland has a yarn festival. Shame it was not on last year when I visited Switzerland. This was a wonderful video !! Thanks for that
Above all else I like how well you present your episodes. Well photographed, well spoken, wonderful music and above all else you do it with a high level of professional skill.
An excellent episode, as always. Strangely, I did not get a notification for your two latest episodes despite having subscribed on TH-cam and being a Patreon supporter. I hope this is a one off and that nothing is amiss with the algorithms.
It's taken me a bit to get to it, but what a fantastic episode! Thank you for bringing this unique festival to us! I can't wait to see all of the other upcoming interviews from your time there.
Absolutely fantastic. A wonderful episode from beginning to end. Well done Andrea and Madeline. Beautiful scenery and inspiring interviews. So many talented people out there and it’s great to get to enjoy seeing them. ❤

The warmth and humor and kindness of your family has made me feel as if we were friends, and to care about your well-being, so it is a joy to see you and Madeleine continuing with Fruity Knitting. I also loved the episodes with Fiona and Michaela. Thank you!
