Most people blow their account because of greed. They get a bit of profit and instead of waiting for a payout. They keep on trading the profit hoping to make a lot more, And in the process they end up blowing up the account
Trading without proper mentorship is the major reason why most people blow up their account. When trading, a lot of people tend to make repeated errors which could easily be avoided through trading with an investment broker
In analyzing most situations, experienced traders will notice a few things that could lead to a short-lived profit or a massive loss

I take my trade while I'm blowing out the toilet. I pound a couple Adderall usually order GrubHub cuz I've been up for 24 hours. Give me a nice baconator and 😊 before you know it, I've been up for 7 days straight and I've lost some money but I'll do it again.
I love what you said there about risking a bit more to try to pass the challenge if you are in profits but dont have a lot of time left, yet still leave enough where you can still get a free retake if the trade ends in a loss..
i did something similar last week after a losing streak, and only a week left, i risked a lot more than i normally would just to go a bit above break even just so i can qualify for a free retake since i was already losing anyway with not a lot of time left, it worked, in profits now but have stopped trading to let the time run out so i can take the free retake (not risking more to go for the 8% target because the profits are just above break even and not enough for me to risk a lot without ending up in the red if i lose, so its better for me to settle for the free retake rn)
.. it's really important in the last weeks to know when and how to throw the gameplan out the door but in a way that makes sense and is in itself also a gameplan

How big was the account ? And what percentage did you need to get your first payout?
@@chawakumwenda8917 Account size was 10k, I didn’t even reach my 1st payout yet, there’s a rule under the funded account that if you lose 1% of the account, they close the account down and take it away

I am almost in my last week in this new challenge. I am on it. Really killing it and journaling everything finally my head made a click and now I understand everything more clear about ICT method and operational. I am a great analyst but my weakness was on execution. I made money on crypto but going long term or mid term, I want to be a scalper in Forex. yeah, something like that. Crypto made money for me but I have seen them as long term investment, because I don't want to trade them. and using own funds are not like huge rewards. i am in my second challenge. Wish me luck. Very true, people downplay advisors role, until burnt by their mistakes. I remember just after my layoff early 2020 amidst covid outbreak, I needed to stay afloat, hence researched for license advisors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge, and decades of experience, my stagnant reserve of $225K has yielded nearly $1m after subsequent investments so far

Thank you for this. Really needed to hear this. I’m glad great traders like you had similar experience like me. On my first 10k account challenge I passed all phases in 2 weeks. Got to 10% (1.4K) in my first day funded. I was going to tell myself that I was going to wait for a payout and I ended up losing that whole funded account same day. That was back in September and I haven’t taken another challenge since, but I’ve been watching your videos and they’ve been helping me prepare for my next challenge. 💪

@@blessing142 Went long on EURUSD with a 10 lot early morning right before US Session. My impulsiveness just wanted me to make money right away. I could’ve made 6K that same hour by holding, but I was up 1.4K. I tried to chase price after that and lost my money in Asian session. I’ve learned a lot since then I’m definitely ready for the next challenge. I thank God for allowing me to lose, because it was a big lesson for me.

If I could go back, I would go for a no time limit challenge or the bootcamp of 5ers which is basically the same (and the fee is low, and you get 100k for 18% profits)

that a cool advice of waiting for the first pay out because that happen to me I was 16 % of 200k funded account and I lost all of that for the greed and I was and a brake even and I had to start again even though I withdrew 7% at the end of the month I lost that 9% just for greed and impatience, but from that mistakes you have to learn and move forward

Thank you so much! That s the thing that i struggle with right now. I have an egde, but my mind is not on point. I put the trade on BE to soon, then the price hit my entry price and explode in my direction after that.
Failed like 7 challenges past 6 months(not actual fail but not reaching target getting just retrys) but i finally passed my phase 1, big problem is funds i dont have to purchase so i have to be extra conservative😑

Hey bro as I see it you have so many experience in Prop Firms such as MFF, so what do you think about the slippage in MFF ?
I heard that slippage in MFF is too high not just during news but in the whole trading days ?
I’m compiling and picking stocks that I’d love to hold on to for a few years before retirement, do you think these stocks would do better over the years? I’d love to retire with at least $2million savings. Now you gotta rely on a pretty good diversification if you must stay green. Currently up 31% and being cautious. Still better deal than letting it sit in savings or checking earning near 5% interest
