Use some of the left over rubber trim channel, on those 2 places on the front fenders, where you see bare metal, between the flare, and front fender. Shold look better and protect ! PEACE
It's on a 4.5 inch Rough Country lift. The XJ does not come with a factory lift. They ride at what's known as stock height. Any height greater than stock height is considered a lift.
Dude, i really hate to criticize anyone for improving something. But that looks terrible, you left all that rot and covered it up with those fender flares that don't fit. You should have left it alone.
What you should’ve done is sold the jeep to the junkyard, exhaust is hanging off everything’s all rusted thing looks like a piece of junk, I’ve had three of these things I know all about him
WhyTF would you by the cheapest possible, poorly fitted, temporary at best eBay plastic crap.... then use THAT as a template to cut metal off your car?!? Please do not touch a tool again.
The fun thing about a jeep, you can do whatever you want to it. Whatever makes you happy, whatever gets the ball rolling for someone to want to work on their own car and learn things, let them do it. This guy did what he could/wanted. We have all been there. Don't bash the man, give him some constructive feedback.
You earned a like just because of the samurai champloo theme in the background
You sir earned one for recognizing it.
I think should cut all that rust off. Ik it’s a lot but honestly it’s going to spread way more in winter.
Samurai Champloo? And an xj? Legend
Definitely should have taken care of the rot first
Once you get some wheels and tires you'll be looking good bro...you gonna go for 33s?
yessir….I had mention it in the video
As soon as I seen the water!!! I laughed!!!!! I did the same thing!!!!!!!
Wouldn’t have had to trim the flare if you trimmed the fender a bit. I followed the line from the old fender flare.
