They laid the foundations of rock in Argentina This was Luis Alberto Spinetta's farewell, since he was sick with cancer. Charly Gracia is still alive and last year he released a new album
On guitar: Luis Alberto Spinetta and on piano: Charly Garcia, the two greatest artists of Argentine rock, were very good friends but had never played together due to contractual issues; this video is part of Spinetta y Las Bandas Eternas, where the artist played for several hours with the members of all his bands and other important guests; this song was part of a common project that could never be realized; at that time Garcia was recovering from a very bad moment of health and coming out of years of addictions and excesses; Spinetta died in 2012, at the age of 62, from lung cancer. The untamed light Became flesh in me And I left everything For this loneliness And I read magazines In the storm I made the sacrifice I embraced the cross at dawn I pray, I pray, I pray, I pray I died without dying And I embraced the pain And I left everything For this loneliness It's already night And now I'm here My body falls I only see the cross at dawn I pray, I pray, I pray, I pray And I healed my wounds And I was inflamed with love And I burned the curtains And I was inflamed with love Of sacred love And then, and then, and then, and then, and then And I healed my wounds And I was inflamed with love And I burned the curtains And I was inflamed with love Of sacred love I pray, I pray, I pray, I pray I pray, I pray for you, oh, I pray
Gracias!!!
It's hard to even translate an Spinetta song, because he was so deep. He started singing in spanish in Argentina way back then, and show the rest of the rockers that you coul write rock songs in spanish. Here is an internet version of this song; The untamed light It became flesh in me and I left it all For this loneliness and I read magazines in the storm I made the sacrifice I embraced the cross at dawn I pray, I pray, I pray, I pray I died without dying And I embraced the pain and left it all For this loneliness It's already night And now I am here my body falls I only see the cross at dawn I pray, I pray, I pray, I pray and healed my wounds And I lit up with love And I burned the curtains And I lit up with love Of sacred love And then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then and healed my wounds And I lit up with love And I burned the curtains And I lit up with love Of sacred love I pray, I pray, I pray, I pray I pray, I pray for you, oh, I pray
Two monsters of the argentinian's music. Founders of the rock in Argentina. Sadly Lusi Alberto is dead and Charly its oldie but both are always present in the life of the people.
Charly García and Luis Alberto Spinetta are considered the fathers of rock in Argentina.

Became flesh in me
And I left everything
For this loneliness
And I read magazines
In the storm
I made the sacrifice
I embraced the cross at dawn
I pray, I pray, I pray, I pray
I died without dying
And I embraced the pain
And I left everything
For this loneliness
It's already night
And now I'm here
My body falls
I only see the cross at dawn
I pray, I pray, I pray, I pray
And I healed my wounds

And I burned the curtains
And I was inflamed with love
Of sacred love
And then, and then, and then, and then, and then
