You don’t have to remove the glove box. I have a 2010 cube and for seven years I removed the glove box. This year I just reached up under the glove box, felt for and removed the cover and pulled the old filter out. The new one went in fairly easy, I slipped the cover back on and I was done in five minutes!

Good to know. Thank you! But, I just tried and couldn't feel what's there. Maybe I should remove the glob box for the first time. Once I got an idea where/how the things are located, I guess I can feel...

Yes, but after 4 years we know where the things are, this is good for people who’ve not done it before, or whose wrists don’t work well.

I had to watch the video again a couple times to confirm once I started removing the screws. But I managed to replace the filter. The old one was dirty black! Imagine that could have gone in our lungs.

Many aspects of Nissan cube are an afterthought. Rushed to market. Conflicting design principles. Then Carlos Ghosn cane along....I have a cube, lowest mileage one in USA, I enjoy it! Don't pay too much though....
