that outro is so damn sick, I fell asleep listening to music, this outro came on and I instantly woke up and started head banging Best way to wake up ever.
Typical modern overproduced metal. Just what I'd expect from a death metal band with a 3 word band name. Good instrumentation and musicianship, but for me at least it's ruined by the annoying watered down production.
Turtle: there's nothing typical about this (particularly considering it was written by a 15 yr old (as was The American Reality...do you believe that's "typical" as well?) The production may not be stellar when compared to their new record (Sentient), but they weren't swimming in $$$ in 2011. Give the new stuff a listen...you won't be disapointed
My gripe isn't that the production sucks, that's obviously not true. It's that it's typically perfect as is in the case of nearly all modern metal. Ridiculously loud and in your face, crystal clear with no soul. It has no identity or rawness to at all. You can tell more computers went through this than men went through Kim Kardashian. The guitar tone is standard and completely uninteresting. Old bands like Coroner, Nocturnus, and Demolition Hammer knew that guitar tone was very significant and made the music sound different and stand out. Bands like this are a dime a dozen. The music itself is decent despite being overly technical and completely unmemorable, it's not like that matters since the volume only has 2 settings - too quiet and blowing your ear drums out. Not to mention the incessant ticking in the background.
Not nitpicking. At the time it genuinely prohibited me from enjoying the music and I've noticed a lot of other metal fans have the same gripe. My opinion might have changed since then though. In the last 2 years I've gotten more used to modern production values. I'll listen to this later and see what I think.

Does anyone know if it's the same vocalist like in their new lyrics video?
My cat likes this, my dog not so much.
Actually much better to me without the vocals, which are somehow masking many details of this amazing instrumental track !
it's missing some brutal lyrics
the new lyrics ruined it

My problem with the production is that it is too good, he said with a guffaw
