that is exactly what SeaWorld needs to do to get out of this financial situation. they finally have realizedthey need to become more of a theme park theme to animal conversation rather than a large aquarium that fetures rides.
Im glad they are building Sesame Street but It's so sad to see happy harbor go as I have so many memories there as a kid just marathoning Shamu Express and playing tag in the giant playground. Do we know if the playground is staying?
If it's opening that late that would mean some horrible summer weather that no park can really deal with, or the ride was damaged in a freak storm in the final phases of the materials being out where they could not secure it in time (i.e. if a freak hurricane hits in the next month from the gulf with only 5 hours warning of landfall). However, they're hoping for a June opening at this time.
Infinity falls is going to take a wild to open. The progress on the construction is slow... I think maybe in mid July or the beginning of August it would be on operation.
Chiquita_ Xo305 Probably not. I'd imagine they don't want to lose the price advantage over Universal and Disney. Busch Gardens prices are the same I believe, yet they still have more rides
I'm really intimidated by the look of roller coasters. It's not that I'm a GP, I know my manufacturers but, they just look so scary. Got any advice for how to overcome the fear and examples of coasters that could help me overcome? (I live in Britain but, I'm going to Florida this summer)
Scrambled 59 Start with the smaller ones and build your way up. It depends on which parks you're going to, but regardless, start with the ones that look the least intimidating. And DON'T back down while you're queuing for the scarier ones like Mako and Sheikra. That only builds your anxiety up more and you associate the fear with the ride and it keeps accumulating. Once you get on it won't be that bad, promise. I used to be terrified of bigger rides and getting over it takes some experience, but if you ride them they'll eventually lose their scary edge.
Forget the "start with the smaller ones." Do like if u had a crush and freaking go. I know its gonna be scary, have a close friend or mom/dad whatever to reassure it.
Just dive straight in, if you’re at Disney then head to rock and roll, if you’re at universal head to hulk or rip ride rocket, if you’re at sea world head to manta, and Busch gardens shiekra isn’t too intense, so if you don’t like it you can just close your eyes and forget you’re on it haha, feeling confident then kumba and montu are your more intense coasters. The bigger the ride you go on, the smaller the next one will seem that would be my tip.
Kyle Eaton it cost a lot to keep opne and the draw wasn't what they hoped for, majority of the VR coaster experiments have been reconverted to their old forms. I was just a fad like backward trains were.
I hope they don't take a direct Six Flags approach as they seem to mainly cater to teens rather than families and if Sea World wants to stay competing with both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando, they should add more major attractions, but keeping with the family aspect. IMHO the Wild Arctic ride would be perfect to receive an update to feature Sesame Street as it's theme since it is right next to Shamu's Happy Harbor which is getting the Sesame Street treatment.
That simulator has always been known for being a rough and wild one, so it's probably not going to receive that treatment. Also, they probably will be taking it easy on the big coasters for a bit in Orlando as they probably are going to have to redo their entrance way very soon.
I would think they could change the Wild Arctic ride into a completely different ride. Instead of a simulator, why not just use the same building and make the ride a Sesame Street dark ride a la Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight or Little Mermaid ride at Magic Kingdom. That would be a perfect fit as an E-Ticket attraction that the whole family could enjoy and with it being at Sea World, it could be a hybrid theme of Sesame Street at sea. I think it would be the perfect boost for Sea World to really have a good means of competition against the bigger dogs of Orlando. It would cost a pretty penny, but if Sea World took the risk, I think it would be a great pay-off. In a much bigger way than the Antarctica attraction was.
They would need it to remain arctic themed as two animal types have to remain in that building unless they got another building up and going elsewhere in the park - and Sesame Street would not work well with the Erebus subtheme that the area has.
I don't know if there's room for it, but I think it would be more appropriate to expand the "Antarctica" area and make it both about the Arctic and Antarctic lands. Showcasing animals from opposite ends of the world in the same area :-) That would free up the building to be used for Sesame Street. Ever since Sesame Street started partnering with Sea World/Busch Gardens, I've been longing for them to treat that property in the same sense as Disney treats it's beloved classic characters. Sesame Street may in a sense generalize itself with a younger audience, however like the Muppets, some of the characters appeal to the inner child in a lot of adults who would watch Sesame Street as kids and what better way for Sea World to capitalize on that appeal more is to build a dark ride that would transport guests into the world of Sesame Street passing by(throughout the ride) all the famous spots/characters from the show similarly to The Many Adventures of Winnie-The-Pooh.
I don't like how there turning the park into sesame street I liked it when it was just sea world not sesame street land (or what ever) I sea world does more with this sesame street thing they have just lost me as a person in the park

alex brewer good point. Gotta evolve with the times.
great point
Those kids wearing neon shirts at 4:33 are with my school at SeaWorld and I was actually riding Mako at around that time!
CrypticConference cool
👌🏼
Can you do a Busch gardens Tampa park update?
Im glad they are building Sesame Street but It's so sad to see happy harbor go as I have so many memories there as a kid just marathoning Shamu Express and playing tag in the giant playground. Do we know if the playground is staying?
Ryan Strembicki WAIT WHAT ITS LEAVING???
Gymnast ._.alicia happy harbor (the kids area)
SeaWorld is so fun I love the electric ocean
Thanks for the Update
I wonder if the sea carousal is getting re themed or just moving to somewhere else in the park
If they add more roller coasters, I may have to get a SeaWorld annual pass instead of a Universal pass!
That drop for Mako is insane! I don't know what possessed me to do it twice... felt like I was falling out
The flamingos fighting was so funny lol.
Mako is amazing!!!Love the videos as always!!!!
Bet I’m going here for summer camp in 4 weeks hope it’s done
My little girl is gonna be heartbroken by not having shamu express to ride anymore :(
Hades Daughter vengi It'll be back eventually, just going to be a little bit :-(
Any news on opening day for ray rush?
We will be at media day tomorrow to try it out and it opens up on the 12th!
Midway Mayhem thanks a lot brother. Keep up the good work with the updates 👍👍
I hope Infinity Falls opens before October this year. Looks pretty interesting and would be sad if it´s still under construction. ^^

Ok, that sounds good. :D
Thanks!

what go pro are you using on this ride and what device? meaning, headstrap or body mount.
Will journey to Atlantis bring back the special effects and the animatronics
So.. when is it set to open? It's taking forever.
Cannot believe how empty the rides are vs. WDW. Hope its like this in July...
When does this open??
This thing is taking forever to open
it not summer yet wink wink nudge nudge
That's Florida for you
well is supposed to open summer dumbass smh it can be between june nd or the beginning of july
uwldluvme21 facts
Gavin Hatfield yes after all this time it better be good although SeaWorld is beautiful without it
Giga at Busch Gardens williamsburg? This is promising.
Looks like a small area for a raft type ride
More rides in the future, so that means the park price is going up?
Chiquita_ Xo305 Probably not. I'd imagine they don't want to lose the price advantage over Universal and Disney. Busch Gardens prices are the same I believe, yet they still have more rides

Most rides at Disney are good to start out on, Cheetah Hunt or Scorpion at Busch Gardens, and probably go with Manta for SeaWorld.

That's how I did it anyways lol

Is Journey to Atlantis running?
Rudy Miranda Did you watch the video?
Yes it is running.
Wait a minute, so they kept the old Kraken train that has the lap-bars without the vr headset? Is that for those who want to ride it without the vr?
Kyle Eaton no the vr has been removed for either a while or permanently
They took the vr out after only one year of service? What is their deal?
Kyle Eaton I think it was a financial thing
Kyle Eaton it cost a lot to keep opne and the draw wasn't what they hoped for, majority of the VR coaster experiments have been reconverted to their old forms. I was just a fad like backward trains were.
Shaun Toler that's wrong I literally asked one of the ride designers and they said there was a technical issue and it will return once its fixed
@5:11 how is that person wearing those socks with those shoes. L
