Bob, I'm so sorry your frustrated with the blog but know that the blog has been very educational for us. My husband and I are in our 50s and thinking of a van build because our children live in a different state so I have really enjoyed watching the process. You've been a really good sport. Love the videos Eamon and Bec and finding them very helpful!! ! Just started watching the other day and my fav so far is.. '10 reasons NOT to live in a van or tiny home' or something like that.. It was soo perfect for where I'm at and I could so relate to everything!!!! The funny part was you all were being sarcastic and I didnt realizd that til the end and was afraid to watch at first because of the title.. But, my van roomie/partner made me... He was like, "let's just watch and see what they have to say.. So, yea so many things Bec said i could relate too! I mean that could have been me talking about the constant cleaning and and other annoying g thing that go on with this lifeste...Yeah, that was quite helpful just knowing I'm not alone.. The first video we watched was the one with Eamon on how the electricity and power, AC/DC works.. Yes, very good information that not everyone is talking about... So, that one was also very cool and helpful!! Def gonna watch it again to learn more and really get it..! Anyway, again.., really love the vlogs guys, so thank you so much for making them!! .. For tracing the shapes of the van put a pencil through one of the leftover pieces from the holesaw and run it along the surface like a wheel. It will still take a few passes of drawing and cutting but you will get a nice neat finish.

I broke my shoulder last year. Very painful. A good 7 weeks of healing plus the physio exercises afterwards are soooo important to gain full range of movement back again.

I've seen where persons use a sheet of cardboard to create a template for the van shape before they cut the walls or paneling around the van, since its a bit more flexible.
You're lucky to have such a talented Dad that can help you out so much :)

On your rounded corner template, you can place a flat washer on the wood/cardboard, draw in the center to trace against your rounded corner to transfer the shape
That's what I'm used to from Home Despot. However, you guys recovered quickly, as nobody's got time for negative peeps. OOH! Sorry to hear about Bec's Grandma's shoulder!

And that is why we always go to Lowes and not Home Depot, even though they both give us military discounts, the staff is head over heels better, friendlier, helpful and available every time we go. I would not have left until the problem was fixed satisfactorily. You can use cardboard to make the pattern of those curved van walls so you come out with a perfect pattern and cut board.

Hi, for ‘scribing’ the kitchen partition to the vans curved wall a largish compass is a handy tool 🤓🤓.
Are you guys going to put a silverware drawer above the fridge? Also not putting wood in the countertops up against the interior wall will make it cold they're in the van during the winter.
We actually need that space above the fridge to install our stove top. We're going to have the stove fixed just like our van conversion :)

Eamon at 7:07 use cardboard first instead of final material. in smaller areas you can put a rubber band on a deck of cards and use that to trace your angles.

@Eamon&Bec : I have the same thing with my knee.. started in high school the ONE day I didn't stretch, that was 20 years ago... lol.. although I keep injuring it to the point, people now-a-days say I limp, which I do when the pain kicks in... I Have now learned to do Yoga each day and stretch out my legs so I don't injure it again. Actually what you said with your knee, I was told what it was when I was at University of Western Ontario (I am from Michigan). :)

You should install a cutting board(?) Above the frigde for some additional space when cooking :) i really enjoy these daily vlogs, keep em' coming!

Have you considered a shallow drawer above the fridge? The drawer runners are available premade in sets as are drawer box pieces. Check out Ana-White.com or her channel here to learn more. Hyping can never have too many drawers, and a shallow one could be great for utensils, etc AND easy to install!

1question , on the bottoms of your hanging cabinets . Did you screw them in or nail them ,, I seen that screw seter you used for the bed did you use that for the hanging cabinets too ?

I’m a little worried about Bobs posture.......I think you need to get him in a yoga class ASAP.....it’s made a huge difference for me and my posture was similar. Within 30 classes I saw my shoulders get back in their origami position , not under my ears and my curved back straight, I’m 2 inches taller.
